Kaosujin Ryu

Mai had tried her hardest to stay awake for a while longer, eventually giving up about an hour or so into her attempt. She wasn't aware that she was using the male in the room with her as a pillow, but either way, she was more than happy, more so since she was asleep after a long while without it. Her breathing was steady, and while she only shifted slightly, as she seemed to have not been comfortable in her sleep every once in a while, she kept up with the slumber she was going with for the umpteenth hour of the evening.

Ryumi curled his fingers through Mai's hair slightly before he sighed softly, falling asleep again.

Mai shifted slightly because of the fingers in her hair, but didn't show any signs of wakening.

Ryumi groaned as he shifted on the bed, his eyes opening in the darkness and glowing slightly. He went to walk to the bathroom, but cursed as his injured foot touched the floor, a searing bolt of pain shooting up his spine as he winced. "Damn it... son of a horse's a**," he muttered through gritted teeth.

Mai continued to sleep as Yumi went ahead to go to the bathroom, waking a bit, but not enough to consider herself able to do anything as far as functioning goes. She could barely hear the male curse at his injury, glancing towards the male.

Ryumi grimaced as he took care of his business before limping back to the bed, unaware Mai was looking at him. "Feels like someone dunked my leg in molten iron up to the damn knee," he muttered.

Mai hums a bit, somewhat saying that she registered while she didn't in actuality. She yawned a bit, glancing up at him, and with whatever brain power she had, she had to ask. Are you alright...?

Ryumi exhaled. "Sore as hell. Leg feels like someone dunked it in molten metal... could be infected, perhaps," he said with a shrug.

Mai nodded a little, able to wake herself up enough to at least try to make herself helpful. I-I can go and find someone if you'd like. Sleeping with that probably wouldn't be enjoyable. She says, yawning the yawn that she was able to hold in just to say what she had to say.

Ryumi sighed slowly, wincing a little as he shifted his legs back into bed. "You can if you want... I don't mind," he said tiredly.

Mai nods once more, yawning a bit as she sat up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. I'll be back in a few then. She said quietly, hopping down from her spot to go and find someone to help him. It didn't really matter who, as long as they were able to go and help him, that's all that mattered to her.

Yamanaka Ino sighed, walking down the hall with a clipboard in her arms, filling out paperwork. She was trained as an ANBU who specialized in poison and mental techniques as well as medical techniques. Her eyes rose as she heard a click of a door, her platinum blond hair hanging over her left eye. Ryumi nodded as he rolled his shoulders.

Mai exited the room, stretching a bit after shutting the door behind her. She looked around a little, down both ends of the hallway, looking for anyone who might be able to help. Seeing a female with rather long hair, her bangs covering the left side of her face, she smiled a bit and walked over. E-Excuse me? The patient in the room down here needs a bit of help. The injury on his leg seems to be in a bad condition.. She said, not sure what to say, but she got what needed to be said out, at the very least. She just hoped that the female in front of her would be able to help in any way.

Ino smiled slightly, motioning for her to lead the way to the room. Ryumi took a deep breath as he focused, feeling his energy flooding his body before his eyes snapped open, glowing a soft blue as ice quickly formed over his body from his calves to his upper chest and shoulders before it shattered. The ice quickly formed over the bandages the dark haired girl had put on his leg and shattered, the gauze falling to the floor in wet shreds of fabric.
