He'd never really thought about it like that. It was a pretty interesting way to look at things, though he was still doubtful. He knew that there was 'socially normal' and 'socially abnormal', it'd been drilled into him from a very young age. He supposed that thinking that way evened the playing field a bit...in a way. The teen wasn't too found of thinking that other people were on his level though, he'd worked very hard to set himself apart from the crowd and he liked to think that there weren't many people who knew as much as he did about his preferred topics of interest.
Where was he going with all of this? He'd forgotten somewhere back there...oh well.
Drawing himself out of his muddled thoughts, Zacharie let out a startled noise that caught in the back of his throat as Jerome simply...vaulted over the side of the building. "Christ!" Peering over the edge, he found that the other male was in no harm and had lowered the ladder for him to climb down on. "...You really should be careful. You are very likely to injure yourself and it takes a very long time for bones to mend from breaks and fractures." He scolded as he gingerly descended the ladder. Once safely on the ground he turned to face the slightly taller man. "...Yes well..." What should he do now? Perking up, he turned to dig through his bag. "Ah...where is it?" He muttered to himself, eyebrows furrowed until he let out a triumphant noise. He held up a jar filled with delicate, yellow flowers and grinned at the other male from over the top.
Right, he probably didn't know what this was.
Stuffing his free hand back into his bag, he rummaged around for a small, plastic bag. "The arnica flower is used for various things, but is made into oils and creams to help ease muscle pain." He explained as he retrieved a small bag and set to work on putting a few ground up flowers into it. "You'll want to mix this with some water and some sort of lotion. Unscented lotion would be best." He advised, sealing off the bag and holding it out for the other to take. "I noticed your tattoos, they must hurt. It's a combination of muscle and skin pain. There's not much you can do about the skin until it heals, be sure to keep them clean. Antibiotic ointment and warm water with unscented soap. But the cream that you'll make with this." He shook the bag a bit. "Will ease the muscle pain."

Once the ladder from the fire escape was extended, Jerome leaned his head back to look at the boy who was calling down to him in alarm and warning about getting hurt. Through a chuckle a soft grin peeling across his lips "F'm ganna get hurt, it ain't ganna be from parkour."
Jerome has had his fare share of spills and injuries, one didn't get as good at it as he and not learn the hard way of just what kind of injuries it could inflict. He's had to deal with some pretty bad spills in his lifetime, and some falls he would hope to never botch ever again. But of everything in his life, Parkour was certainly not going to be what kills him.
He didn't use the ladder on this level either, the ump down wasn't long and he was able to land on the ground with a tumble before he was back on his feet. While Zacharie made his way down Jerome walked ahead to scout the aria, make sure it was clear. Thankfully it seemed that there wasn't anyone of interest around, other then a few casual pedestrians.
"Looks calm." Jerome Told Zacharie as he returned. "Y'should probably be goof from here, M'goin my own way from here kid." Black inked eyes blinked when Twitchy came up with something from his bag. Jerome was explained what it was, what it would do and how it would help him. "... This ain't one of these experiments is it?" He asked, though taking the bag.
