Description: A trained assassin and his target, a fairy princess.
Introduction: Day after day, hour after hour: "Sit up straight! Drink like a lady! Go change into an evening dress!" The princess was sick of it all. It was all she'd heard since birth, and she craved something more. She remembered when she finally convinced her parents to let her take swordsmanship lessons with her brother after a week of nonstop disobedience. It was the best she could do, but her parents hated it. She thought she'd finally lifted her haze of boredom but found herself wanting more as she advanced past her brother in skill. Finally, on the night of a grand masquerade, it seemed her wish for adventure was to be granted...
He was trained among the best. Of course, his job had no room for failure. He was an assassin, trained to kill without mercy on the whim of his employers. It's all he'd ever known of life, brought into the job at a young age. Never had he failed, though his targets were rarely competent in battle, if they even saw him first. This night was to be like many others, though the target was not. She was the daughter of the King. She was to be taken hostage to make the King bend to any whim. The best way to get close to her, however, was at a lavish masquerade. Not only would it give him a chance to grab the girl, but also a chance to scope out the weak points of the royals fortress...
