well the first one would work in the subliminal category if you had shaded it all the same way instead of making the letters stand out. You do pretty good I'd rate a 7 overall, clean lines but not alot of depth on the shading of #2. Very sad stuff, cheer up, okay! *BONK* ^_~

I think both of them are pretty good. But if I can make one suggestion on the first one, get rid of the eyeball if it's not needed. The circle shape seems awkward in a picture full of polygons (I think that's the right word, I forget Geometry). And I agree with what Syrisala said, shading the whole thing the same way would make it a better subliminal message. (And with the part about cheering up smile )

1st pic: interesting. nice lettering and such. i agree with jaggedxangel that the eyeball in it looks out of place.
2nd pic: wah so sad =( *gives her ice cream* (ice cream makes everything better 3nodding ) um, where her right cheek curves is off, a bit too high up. when drawing tears, you could add some tear bubbles that form near the edge of her bottom eye-line. her strands of hair are all so equally spaced. it'd be nice to have thick and thin pieces. um.. what is that diagonal stick thing? and um for the right side of the page, i guess you can draw a profile of her gazing towards the top right corner, or of the guy she likes maybe?
anyways, cute pic biggrin can't wait to see it finished.
