[PRP] When in Doubt

When Dove had left her, Sera had felt both relieved as well as depressed for a variety of reasons. Unbeknownst to her, though, the other girl had sent a message to Rosie - not that Sera would've known who she'd texted anyway, even if she had been aware of herself and what others were doing around her. Even when Dove left, she remained curled up on the bench near the retaining wall, one arm wrapped around her knees and her head bent low over them.

Jasmine remained where she was as well, still laying in the sand by the shore, thoroughly enjoying the waves as they gently washed over her. Her deep blue eyes were closed, and she was extremely content, if her expression was any indication.

When Rosie got a text from Dove, letting her know about Seraphine, Rosie didn't hesitate to get on Pastin and ride out toward the beach.
"I don't see her." Rosie said, pushing herself up higher on Pastin's back as she scanned the beach, her Rapidash trotting just at the edge of the sand.
Reaching up to try and block the sun from her eyes, she continued to look out for any sigh of the Brunette.

The trainer was starting to worry that Seraphine might have left, and was going to pick up her phone and try to call her, when Pastin let out a nicker and trotted forward with a greater purpose. right up to a bench where Sera was sitting.
"Sera!" Rosie breathed with relief.

At the sound of approaching footsteps, Sera shrank and curled into herself further, but tensed at the voice. She opened her mouth to reply, to simply say her friend's name, but all that came out was a weak, soft noise. Her failure to even voice a proper reply only upset her further, and she buried her face more firmly into her knees. She was awful. Everything was awful.

Pulling one foot over to allow herself to slide off the Rapidash, Rosie walked over to sit down next to Sera.
"Dove sent me a text... Telling me you weren't doing too well."

Seraphine inhaled deeply and held it, and then suddenly unfolded herself completely. Her feet slipped down into the sand as her knees fell onto the bench, she gestured lamely with both arms that quickly fell back into her lap, and said forlornly in tones full with emotion and her pale eyes full of tears, "Everything sucks." That said, she immediately slumped back against the bench, staring mournfully at her knees as tears threatened to fall down her cheeks.
