Inigo had been led from his holding cell to a small room inside the facility; an interrogation room, if his vague memories of those few police procedural shows were anything to go off of. He had been instructed to sit down in a chair that faced a second, more comfortable-looking chair, with a simple table separating the two, before being left alone for the time being. The grunt took a brief glance around the room, noting its single exit and what was obviously a two-way mirror, before focusing down at the table in front of him. He might've been at least a little more comfortable if his hands weren't handcuffed behind his back, but that wasn't exactly something he expected to change at any point. While he awaited anyone else to enter and begin his questioning, his mind raced with so many varying thoughts, to things he'd done and choices he'd made, things he regretted... And the fact that he'd been arrested, and had no idea what would become of him, didn't help his nervousness or anxiety about the situation one bit.

After some time, the heavy door in the wall opened. A bearded man entered, eying Inigo with suspicion as he seated himself opposite the younger man. The file in his hand hit the table with a hard smack.

"My name is Detective Richard Baudin," the grim-faced man introduced himself. His cold eyes made it clear that he held no love for Rockets. He flipped the folder open before him and interlaced his fingers atop it. "Please state your full name for the record."

He jerked his head up as the door opened all of a sudden - he hadn't heard anything approaching the other side, but maybe he just hadn't been paying much attention - and watched the man as he entered and sat. The grunt shifted rather uncomfortably, his expression and indeed his entire countenance clearly displaying how unnerved he was to be sitting there with someone so unfriendly. "Ah," he started hesitantly, quietly, his throat suddenly very dry despite being perfectly fine just a scant few minutes ago, "Ignacio Vizzini."

The man gave a short nod, most likely to himself. He stopped staring at the boy and turned his attention to the file. "And do you know why you are here, Mr. Vizzini?"

"Um," he hesitated again, still anxious even if the man wasn't even looking at him anymore, "probably?"

Baudin's already straight lips curled a faint notch downward. "You were brought in for an outstanding warrant for arrest from Sandalwood for breaking and entering and theft. Your own behavior since then and the behavior of the members of Team Rocket around you earlier suggests there is more to this case." The man once again stared accusingly at Inigo. "How do you know the Team Rocket members who were arrested today?"

Man this was so awful and uncomfortable and he really just did not want to be here... It was bad enough having to relive everything, but did he have to sound so upset about it..? "Uh, I don't, um..." That probably wasn't a thing he should answer, but it sounded like he'd come up with his own - correct - conclusion anyway...

Baudin huffed his disbelief, but moved on to the next question. "Why did you attend today's convention?"

This question, too, gave Inigo pause. "U-um.. Because it, uh.. was a pokemon convention," he hazarded uncertainly, "and I like pokemon..?" That was a safe answer, right? Right, yes, good. No need to be nervous or afraid...

....oh who was he kidding, he was so nervous and afraid and anxious.

"A likely answer," Baudin huffed again. He referred to a form in the folder. "Where were you the night of--" the detective read out the month, day, and year of the night Inigo had broken into the university in Sandalwood with Aila's help.

...well he certainly hadn't expected that question. That was... Arceus, that was over two years ago. His confusion about the question, and the fact that he honestly couldn't remember the answer, were evident in his expression. "I.. don't know?" Was he still in school then, or had he been expelled already..?

"Then allow me to refresh your memory: it was the night the university was broken into, and your name was on all of the research stolen. Research that, by rights, was property of the PokeUniversity." Did this kid really think that playing dumb would help his case? "Where were you the night when all of that was taking place?"

...oh. So that was what day it was. Recognition clearly passed over his face, which he pointedly aimed at a spot on the table directly in front of him, before it faded to nervousness once again as he replied, "Um.. Camping?" It was true, at least - he had been camping that day and that evening, sort of...

Baudin grumbled something about likely stories under his breath. As he turned back to the notes to prepare whatever question he had next, there was a knock at the door. Without waiting for a response, the door opened for the second time.

The woman who entered stood by the closed door, not minding the sound of it being locked again from the outside. In her hands she held a file. No words were spoken yet as she waited for Baudin to acknowledge her. When he did, it was with a barely suppressed scowl at the wall opposite her.

"Thank you, Detective Baudin. I will take over from here," she stated, stepping forward. Baudin clearly didn't approve of the change, but stood nonetheless. He waited only for the door to be unlocked and opened, and then he was gone. The door locked again behind him.

The woman with the auburn hair took up the seat which Baudin had previously occupied. She studied Inigo without emotion while absently straightening her folder on top of the one left behind by Baudin. At last, she spoke, her voice as familiar as her looks. "I am League Representative Dora Harrison. Mr. Vizzini, for how long have you been a member of Team Rocket?"

The man was making him rather uncomfortable, but the sound of the door opening pulled his attention and made his brows raise. Inigo, who had spent some time helping Harvard while her arm was healing, was left completely puzzled by this woman. Was it Harvard undercover here, or was she undercover back on base? Was this even Harvard? But if not, who was it? Identical twins were a thing, he knew, but they were quite rare in his experience - but then, so was this sort of situation.

The expression Dora would see on Inigo's face while she studied him was full of bewilderment and confusion, and he blinked rapidly a few times when she finally spoke. "Oh, I-- um," he hesitated, his brows furrowing a bit as his racing thoughts immediately resumed their confused spiral after the brief interruption for her question, which he left unanswered.
