[FIN] Chasing the Sun

She stayed seated, quiet, and with her back to him, her eyes now closed.

Wherever she wanted... freedom

He was the epitome of freedom... Handsome, confident, experienced, strong. She...What even was she now? The others on the island.., sure, se had experienced things she knew they would likely never have the opportunity to even taste, but they all had a place, a goal, a plan, lives that they had chosen. Now it just felt like she was chasing after it.. Wondering if she'd ever catch up.

Slowly, she turned back to him, regarding him through eyes flickering with both lust for a adventure and fear of the unknown.

Slowly Yuri sat up during the silence. Drawing up one knee, he draped an arm over it as he watched her. When she finally turned, his eyes net hers. He studied that look in her eyes.

"Scared?"

It was human to be afraid of new things. He couldn't really blame her.

She tried to look away, the intensity, intentional or not, frightening her. However, her eyes stayed fixed to his, something reassuring her more.
Her voice was small.
"Yes."

Yuri smirked a little at her admittance. "Yeah, you probably should," he agreed.

He then leaned in a little bit. "But you don't have to be."

His smirk and warning had her gaze falling, but only for the split second before he drew closer and spoke again. At his words, she was still, her breath shallow before a whisper, a whimper, a plea, a command:

"Show me."

... Whoa. Yuri blinked at that. He knew that sort of tone. Her words almost electrifying to the point that he felt goosebumps crawling across his skin.

Somehow she had gotten closer and they were mere inches apart. He could even feel his pulse starting to race.

Without even thinking about it he reached out to touch her. His fingers brushing against her cheek and through her hair.

"You sure about that?"

She couldn't breathe.

Everything about her was still, even as his fingers touched her face.

Her heart thudded painfully in her chest. Surely he could hear it.

Her mind started spinning, every thought clouded but sharp all at once.

Then in that instant, her lips were brushing his.

"...I'm all yours."
