Natural Ability: Lock can meld into his shadow and occupy a shadowy circle for a short amount of time. He cannot go through walls/move in this form.
Personality: Lock is calm. He has an inner peace about him that leaves him relatively level headed in daily interaction. He treats everything with a bored enthusiasm- he'll do it because he has to, not because he wants to. He is as expressive as the next person, but he also knows when to be peaceful and to dwell on his thoughts, rather than rush into things.
It doesn't mean he's unkind. Sheltered would be a better word for it- Lock has been raised in a somewhat more secluded area of Halloween, that doesn't quite function the same as a large boarding school. He's learning to adjust to his new emotions and situations, and hasn't quite yet grasped interactions with others. He prefers going it alone and doing what work he can individually over forcing himself to be friends with everyone. He doesn't purposely avoid people, he just doesn't want to trouble them. He'll be kind to anyone who approaches him though, in his own abrupt sort of way.
Lock is relatively levelheaded. Like any halloween citizen, he can be pushed into histeria, but for the most part he keeps himself relatively calm. He isn't riled easily by others, unless they know exactly which buttons to press. This also means that he doesn't get angry or sad often either. Unfortunately, this means he doesn't get happy easily either. Or much of anything.
Some other fun facts:
- Has really shitty eyesight due to heavy underground exposure all his life, and wears glasses most of the time because of it
- His familiar is a fluffy black cat named Voodoo. The cat seems to be made of compacted shadows, so it gives the appearance of a loose, disappearing state. She wears a little collar of blue ribbon, and has a very feminine, almost motherly likeness.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Lock grew tired of his family's hermit ways. Getting his passport for the human world was a good excuse to get away from his underground dwelling. He's nervous about seeing more of the world away from his home territory, but at the same time he's very excited to experience something new.
FEAR Ability: Lock wraps any injury in his shadows, which then work to heal the target in a soothing way.
