Nezz's did her best to not laugh at his less-than-graceful landing, but an amused snort escaped anyways. Before she could offer to help him up however, he was on his feet and moving through the forest. She followed him easily, though she let him lead. Despite frequenting the graveyard and the bordering forest, she wasn't actually sure where the doorway to the human world was.
As they arrived, Nerezza turned slowly, her eyes wide. "Wooow, this is great!" She said, her excitement growing despite the fact they'd only come to the doorways. Mush like her uncle, she was drawn almost at once at the beautiful doorway in the shape of a decorated pine tree, its ornaments glistening in the dim moonlight. She closed her eyes and pressed her ear against it. As she listened, she swore she could hear, albeit extremely faintly, the sounds of joyous laughter and Christmas carols. That was interrupted by sudden harsh sounds that made her jump, her ears folding back as she turned and joined Jason, leaving the captivating door to Christmastown behind. "It's so...loud." She said as she looked into the darkness, leaning in some while supporting herself on the frame. She watched Jason gesture somewhat grandly, offering her first go. She took a breath and a few steps back. "Well then...See you on the other side." She said, and took a running leap through the round doorway.
She was surprised as, rather than the freefall she'd expected, something seemed to catch her up, like a strong wind, and before she knew it, she was thrown through stone doors and tumbled onto the cold ground, ending up on all fours. She stayed still for a moment as loads of new sensations hit her. Unfamiliar scents and sounds crashed into her, even the graveyard she'd been thrown into looked different than the one back home. She stood cautiously and turned, taking in the surroundings.
