Nēkaṛa rolled her eyes. "No duh... bridges always spontaneously explode in a fireball visible for miles," she said dryly, her tone dripping sarcasm. Her eyes widened as she heard loud cracking as she realized she was far too close to the edge that led to the drop into the gorge for comfort. With a cry of surprise, the rocky earth beneath her feet collapsed; she saw a momentary flash of blue and white from the corner of her eye that made no sense, but she couldn't figure out what it was that had caused it.

Len caught her sarcasm and her sense of humor even in a situation such as this amused him.
But he didnt pay attention. She went way too close to the edge of the canyon and unavoidably lost footing. Without thinking he jumped towards the edge and grabbed her arm to pull her back up, but a strong force pulled him with her into the flames. He pulled her into his arms in an attempt to shield her from most of the damage, knowing well they would both die anyways and closed his eyes as a flash of blue and white covered his vision.
He could barely hear Ciel's scared cry inthe distance.

Nēkaṛa sighed, rolling over before her eyes snapped open as she unconsciously swam to the surface of the thirty foot wide pond; she knew its depth was greater than her height as she couldn't touch the bottom. She recognized nothing around her nor did she recognize the trees around them. All she recognized was the idiotic white man who'd landed near her. She noted that she stank of smoke though she noted the waterfall nearby.

Lennart let go of the woman by accident as they hit the water. The force of the fall drove him deep under the surface. Looking around him he couldnt see her underwater, so he quickly swam to the surface, expecting the fire to have spread even more. But as his head broke through the water and he looked around there wasnt any fire nearby. Neither were they in a canyon, in fact.
"What the..." he muttered as he surveyed their surroundings. Hedidnt recognize most of the trees or plants around him, and he could hear some animal cries and sounds he couldnt pinpoint either. He didnt even look as he noticed the sioux surfacing not too far from him. "Where in the world are we?", he said, more to himself than to anyone in particular.

Nēkaṛa grimaced. "I do not know, but I sense two things: we're being watched and somehow, the air... is cleaner," she said dryly. She was wary of whoever or whatever was watching them as evident by her hand not too far from the five inch long knife between her C cup breasts. She knew how to draw and throw the knife in one fluid movement if necessary. She shifted, hearing a soft, giggling voice as she twisted, drawing and hurling the knife in a quick, fluid movement yet all she 'hit' was a fading flicker of pink light as the knife impaled itself into a tree. She frowned, her eyes slightly narrowed; she knew the white man would assume she'd practiced her accuracy and speed on prisoners of her tribe, yet in her case itwas remarkably simple: hit the target on the first strike or go hungry. She tensed, hearing the same odd giggling, yet it seemed to be an unusual mewing giggle.
OOC -• Before you ask, yes, it's a Pokémon, a very particular one that is a Psychic type. There's a big hint, if you look close.

Len had noticed it aswell. The atmosphere of this place was diffrent. Like they had changed climate zones. He had also noticed something was watching them, but it wasnt a threatening presence. What worried him more was to get out of this lake. He got a bad feeling that they shouldnt stay in it for too long.
He quickly swam to a shadowy area near the beginning of the forest, ignoring the sioux' frenzy over what was watching them from the shadows of the trees. Turning around he just then he watched her knife disappear into the trees followed by a strange giggling sound. her accuracy isnt bad he thought. So lets see what that thing is. If anything, indians should have good sense for danger. Lets make sure if its dangerous... with that he shook off some water and entered the forest silently, like a shadow, erasing his presence to not disturb the wildlife. He then proceeded towards the point where the creature was hiding, always keeping an eye on the sioux still staring at the forest.

Nēkaṛa cocked her head as she slid into the trees several yards to the white man's left, finding and sheathing her knife in a matter of seconds. There was a slight scent in the air that struck her as fresh with a slight bitter edge to it. She frowned slightly, spinning as she heard a trilling call and saw an odd creature that was pink and bipedal with mammalian features. Its snout was short and wide and it had triangular ears and large, blue eyes. It had three-fingered paws, large feet with oval markings on the soles. Its fur seemed to be quite fine in appearance. It had a long, skinny tail ending with a rounded tip. It had larger hind legs much like a rabbit's and short arms with three-fingered paws. A low gasp escaped her as its blue eyes stared into hers.

Just seriously, what was that thing. As Len wondered this, watching the sioux stare at the creature in front of her, he automatically got out the rope from his bag, tying into an easy form to catch animals with. He didnt sense serious hostility from it, but with a species he never saw before it really wasnt possible to be completely sure. He quietly got into position, ready to throw it, as he noticed the creature, with the same mewing sound as before, looking at a rock nearby. There seemed to be something stuck under it. Then a strange vibration could be felt in the air, coming from that pinkish animal and the rock started to roll away, quickly gaining speed until it dropped into the pond they had landed in with a huge splash.
Now!, Len thought and threw the rope around the creature's belly, pulling it towards him faster than it could react to this strange treatment. Figuring it would be bad if it could look at them he removed his shawl while pulling to cover its head with.
'It' started to struggle against the rope, but it was too late. Len covered its face with the shawl and tied its paws to its body.
Hopefully this will hold it, he thought, but his rope had never betrayed him before.

Nēkaṛa frowned slightly, watching the boulder warily as it rolled into the pond. She cocked an eyebrow as she heard an odd wet grumble as what appeared to be a puddle of purple something shifted before rising up as a slime covered arm shifted, it's beady eyes finding them almost immediately. "M-u-u-u-k!!" it bellowed. Seconds later, it released a foul stench in the form of a blast of air tainted with a sickly reddish violet smoke. Her eyes widened slightly as she leaped back, seeing the grass nearest the creature, a Muk, wither and smolder. "s**t!!" she muttered as she landed near the white man, ignoring how he had the other creature. She could hear it's muffled voice and somehow understood what it was saying. She blinked, glancing towards its shawl covered face and head. "What are you talking about, 'Poison Gas'?" she muttered, unsure how she could even understand it.

Nēkaṛa grabbed the white man's forearm and jerked as she pushed off the ground, not realizing she was stronger than she had been as she leaped back, the cloud lingering for several seconds before she saw some sort of bird with a hooked beak poked its head out of the bushes near them. It started squawking with a sound that was clearly annoyed. She blinked, realizing that to her, the squawking was clear words.
