with bread knives is a painful process and I do not recommend it. Happened yesterday and it's still bleeeeeding..

Yes lol.
I was cutting croutons yesterday and my blade slipped and whoops there went the callous.
I patched it with some super glue and bandages though, so it should be grown back on in a couple of weeks.

Yeah Calluses are worth looking after, when working with ropes I build up some good ones. But when Im not I find they go pretty quick, like most of mine are pretty much gone now.

Mine are definitely restaurant callouses. Made from years of burning myself, and all of my knuckles have them from small knife abrasions because of my form when using blades. It sucks now that I'm minus one xD
Especially since it's my middle finger~

Everyone has thier things which seem more illogically gross than they should be.

A bread knife cut does make me shudder with the thought of the teeth not giving a smooth cut meaning it will take longer to heal, and is more likly to cut. For me things that rip finger/toenails also make me shudder.
