HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
The title is totally unrelated to the subject matter here by the way.

My holiday plans ended up changing, so we're having an early meal at my house. whee
I'm going to post one of my recipes later, a really simple one with pretty pictures and relating to sweet potatoes. I know how excited you are.

Our original plan was that my uncle was going to celebrate thanksgiving with his girlfriend's family, but then that turned into cleaning out my grandmother's room, and that turned into having a nice meal between the two of us. SO. Holiday depression factor has gone from a 98%, to 56%, to a solid 23%.

WOOSH.
Even if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving or just not today I hope your day is AWESOME.

Not really, I don't think. Honestly, they never really mentioned anything about the history of it in school or anything, but I think I've heard it being about farmers giving thanks for their harvest, which is probably why it's a month earlier. it's mostly giving thanks for everything you have, pretty general I guess.
