- Tobias is the sort of person that is borderline annoying with his optimism and smug sense of self. While he strongly believes that things will always get better (and that everyone else should too so that things really do get better), he also believes that he's stronger than he actually is. In a way, he does believe in quite a number of impossible things. This had lead to him having a bark that's louder than his bite. For all his vanity and showmanship, he is quick to back down if he thinks he can't take someone on. As far as rules and guidelines go, he does believe in following them rather than breaking them. After all, if they were supposed to be broken why are they there in the first place?
Annoying optimism aside, Tobias also almost religiously practices all sorts of relaxation techniques. His go-to type of relaxation is yoga as tai chi usually turns into a series of made-up martial arts moves and burning incense often result in small fires. It's not like he means for these things to happen -- he just gets excited. Maybe a little too excited over things to an obsession. He'll often take things too far, and will need someone to either tell him to knock it off or quite literally knock some sense into him.
Speaking of the school of hard knocks, to Tobias fighting with a weapon is a rush. It's an exhilaration, something that's drastically different from his former life. He'll strive to come out on top and be the last man standing, to get in and out and be all around awesome. He is selfish in this regard, and quite often won't know when to draw the line or to quit. Did you just see how he took that other guy down? It was like, BOOM! Now he's just lyin' in a pool of red shame. Isn't that awesome?! But, uh, why are you all looking at him like he just killed someone? Shouldn't you, y'know, be congratulating him or something by now...?
When it comes to his personal life, Tobias is evasive. He doesn't quite like talking about himself, and has no qualms about stretching the truth or lying outright. Or being caught in said lie; that will usually result in twisting the lie even further. Anything else is fair game, though more often than not Tobias may have no qualms about telling it to you straight.

- Once upon a time, Nadia was nothing more than a Chimera constructed out of spare animal parts and miscellaneous materials. After a lifetime of having someone say "Nevermind Nadia" as if she wasn't even there, Nadia is left with a simmering loathing for just about everything and everyone she comes across. Her pessimistic view brings her to focus on the worst in those she comes across.
Nadia loathes being seen as an afterthought. She wants to be there in the forefront, to be recognized for what she (and by extension, her hunter) can do. Her way, of course. She's the one who had multiple brains, so she's clearly the mastermind between her and her hunter. She thinks. She won't admit it, but she does appreciate Tobias for what she considers to be his stupidity and his attempts to soothe her anger.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Like many hunters, Tobias was plagued by shadows growing up. His family dog could only bark at so many before being banished to the outside, and his stories could only be told so often before his parents could write them off as nightmares. As far as his parents could tell, the shadowy creatures were nothing more than manifestations of bad energy and stress, though what a young child could be stressed over was anyone's guess. From then on, Tobias and his parents dabbled in all sorts of positive energy boosting techniques from yoga to crystal healing.
While out on a hiking retreat for troubled teens (because the city is often drowning in negative vibes and pollutants that just drag everyone down vs the outdoors with its pure air and the sweet harmony of nature), Tobias became separated from the rest of the group. After wandering around lost and jumping at shadows, he was approached and recruited by the hunters. His choice was obvious: become a superhero and actually fight the shadows that weren't shadows but totally groudy monsters? Sign him up!
His only regret is that the hunters who recruited him didn't agree to make his death look like he was eaten by a bear.
