[PRP] Unfair

Henrietta's motion earned a quiet nod. It would be hard, but it was for the best, she thought. The girl's parents were probably worried sick at this point...

Jace slowly fell into silence, nodding his head at his parent's assurance and speaking only every so often when he needed to confirm he was there.

The forced smile made her uneasy, and as Jace talked with his parents, she rubbed his small arm, setting her cheek against his head as he leaned into her side. Flynn's suggestion, however, was a good one and she nodded a little, feeling smaller and smaller by the minute. There was so much to wrap up here, though...

Eventually, Jace would offer his short goodbye, handing the phone back to the woman at his side. After another exchange between the adults, Dove agreed to meet them as soon as they arrived in the city; Jace would be in their care again before the sun rose, and though it hurt terribly, she understood. He needed them.

Slowly, she stood, urging the little boy to stand with them. Chester slid off of the chair to walk at his master's side, and though the little boy looked absolutely exhausted, Dove extended one last offer. "Do you want to say goodbye to Yuri first, Jace...?"

The boy nodded quietly, and with a quick look to the blonde, Dove led him back into the room to visit one last time for now.

Watching Henrietta go, Flynn looked back to Jace and Dove and simply stood there in respectful silence as the kids worked things out with their parents.

When Jace went to say good bye to Yuri though , he followed but hung back by the door again.

Yuri, who had heard parts of what was going on out there gave a weak smile as they came into view again.

"Guys heading out?" He asked, looking to Jace in particular. "Hang in there fearless leader."
