Her silly electronic device meant nothing to Wrath in the grande scheme of things. He had kicked it away in an effort to garner her full attention, and it seemed that he had it now, as she began to do something with her weapon, and he got on his guard, preparing himself for whatever was about to come next.
And then she crumpled, and he scoffed, wasting no time in throwing himself on her while she was downed, slashing it her with meticulous strikes of his sword, aiming high towards her chest and then low across her legs. He was ready to end this and claim his first victory against the white coats that had taken everything away from him.
It wasn't much, but it was a start.

He had hoped to keep her on the ground, really, so when she ended up stumbling into him instead, it was with a snarl on his lips that he met her, taking the stabbing of her sai against his ribs and giving the strike back in turn by driving his sword into her, a hand with metal claws at it's index finger and thumb grabbing her shoulder and pulling her even closer against him, squeezing against her flesh.
"Death has come for you, girl. Are you ready to meet him? Are you prepared to pay the toll?" His voice was a low and raspy growl, his face turned just slightly towards her own, his knees and back bent forward to ease the gap between their distance in heights.
"Or maybe I should just save you for myself."

She laughed, and it rankled. It was impossible for it not to. She was facing death, and most others would have felt fear, and he would have drank it all in, letting it wash over him in waves of ecstasy. But no, she laughed, when others would have screamed, when others heart's would have been likely to beat right out of their chests.
She laughed, and she twisted her blade, and he felt the give of his shield, felt the warm blood that oozed from the wound. He didn't flinch away, however, just ground his teeth together, his own blade still pushed into her as well.
His claws dug even tighter into her shoulder.
"It is most fortunate, then, that now you shall give him an answer." The voice, still low, still rumbling as though resonating from deep within his chest, was almost like a deep, dark purr, as if he enjoyed the pain she gave him. And he did. He enjoyed it, and he was really going to enjoy what came next.
Brutally, he yanked his sword out from where he had dug it into her shield, and then just as brutally, he stabbed it forward again, and again, twisting the blade with each puncture, and likely reveling in the blood as it began to flow, as her shield crumbled beneath his strength. It's metallic tang that scented the air was enticing. It brightened his gaze and left him almost breathless as he shoved her away, pushing against the shoulder that he had been holding on to, happy to leave her to die on the ground.
He didn't know about pendants. He didn't know that she could escape. He just wanted to sit there and watch her bleed until she gasped her last breath.

Some part of her, the one that was still able to focus on the smelly beast she clung to, found amusement in his reaction to her laughing. Which only made her laugh more until he removed his blade and plunged it into her body, the claws digging into her shoulder tightening. The pain was beyond intense. And she felt herself fading quickly. Vashi's howl of fury and panic reverberated around her mind as her shield failed and the pain only intensified. A cry mingled with the laugh, tears clouding her already darkening vision.
"N-Not... yet... " She gasped out in a whisper, falling heavily to the ground as her weapon disappeared. Her clothes were soaked with her own blood, and she could see the satisfaction in the horseman's face. But he didn't place the final blow.
:: DO IT! :: The vârcolac snarled, while her mind could still function.
With the last bit of strength she had, her vision blackening rapidly, Fini rolled to her back, grasping the pendant around her neck. Free hand shaking, she flipped the pony off before porting out.
