[PRP] Walking Always Helps

Kyle couldn't take his eyes off the other Grunt, as the man got closer and closer to where the Legendary was concealed.
He found himself holding his breath as the Legendary poked its head back up, though Kyle couldn't see enough from where he was with one knee still on the ground,.

"I just want it to be on record, that is Grunt Lu died it is not my fault, He went off on his own, even if I told him not to." He said into his dex with hushed tones, yellow eyes wide as he stared at what was happening.

Falling quiet for a few seconds later, hoping to get a reply back, but sadly, nothing.
"What do you think Articuno would be worth huh? I mean... If you take in account what it would cost to make it... and then what the profit would be..." He continued speaking into the dex, finding the silence to be unnerving. "It would be a useful clone don't you think? great feeling points, hot summer day, good way to cool down, its big enough to ride on even... oh man is it big enough to ride on, I mean you know it is, but then you actually see it in person. You could make a good five figures off of a clone right?"

The single word, coupled with Lu's continued presence, incited an unfortunately negative response. Its crest raised and it straightened up taller, spreading its wings - Lu might have been able to see the very tops of both wings from his point of view - as it made a low, displeased hissing sound at the intruder. Intruders, actually; while its gaze remained locked on Lu, standing up taller allowed the Articuno to see Kyle kneeling on the ground.

"Sorry!" He squeaked, eyes wide as could be. Lu felt the blood drain from his face as the legendary stood and spread its wings; it was really, really big. Lu's legs felt like they were melded to the ground but the hissing noise got him moving. He took a couple steps back, slowly at first, then quicker, until he felt like he'd gotten far enough back to turn and take off running.

"We should go, I think we should go!" He called out to Kyle as he got nearer, thankful he'd called Tea back to her pokeball.

Winter had emerged from the earth, as if in slow motion it rose on massive shimmering wings to cast its trembling shadow upon the young spring and sending ice through the blood of the yellow eyed Rocket now holding his breath as the red gaze of the blizzard and frozen fell on his now perspective miniscule position.

He opened his mouth in stunned awe of fear, and just barely managed words barely escaping an airy breath "Base, pick... up."

Go? They should go? Yes OOOHH YES they should go.

"SYL!" Varian rammed his body into Kyle's side, knocking him nearly over if he had not throw a hand out to catch himself.
not waiting for a second longer to spring into action to action.
The shiny pokemon leaping off further into the flower patch and away from Kyle, arching up high and crying out again with a forceful pink eyes wide, and with a flurry of flying bows started to full the stiff air with the sharp shaking sound of cracks as the long tattles whipped through the air. One after another in rapid and seeming unending succession CRACK CRACK CRACK!
Hoping to draw the attention away from Kyle to give his humans a chance to get away.

The Articuno took the sudden movement as a threat and, with a mighty sweep of its great wings, rose effortlessly from the ground. The Sylveon's antagonization only served to further incense the bird, and with a hellish screech that broke across the plains, it dipped forward, summoning a wicked blast of ice, snow, and whipping winds around the unwanted intruders.

Varian expected there to be an attack, and he knew he wouldn't fare well against it, but what he, nor any of his other team mates expected was that the blizzard that the ice bird unleashed would be as uncomfortably huge as it was.
Not just was the Sylveon swallowed into it wall of harsh wings and Ice, but Kyle had to buckle away as the sudden attack rushed harshly over him.
Cybil dove in to try and cover Kyle as much as she could, but the and wind bit at her eyes and she shrank back.

Kyle tried to call out to his pokemon, but the cold stung his throat and the roaring winds washed away the sounds.
The sudden piercing cold folding Kyle into himself.
He was going to kill Lu.

Lu yelled out as the sudden blizzard that surrounded them; the screech of the bird covered up his own scream, thank god, but this was going to kill the flowers, oh no- Gah! Worry about the flowers later! Lu could barely keep himself upright when the attack hit, Lu slowed down to gain his foothold- snow and ice was swirling around them angrily, it was disorienting on top of the panic it'd caused.

"Did base pick up?" Lu asked as soon as he was close enough, speaking louder to be heard over the road of the winds. "Pokemon- they're making it mad! More mad- I made it mad first!" Lu yelled, looking about ready to have a panic attack. He wanted to keep running and get their behinds in the base, but he couldn't go unless he knew Kyle and his pokemon were on the move too.

A large shadow passed over the grunts as the Articuno alighted in the grass nearby, the remnants of its maelstrom swirling around it as it fixed them with its scarlet glare. Its sharp beak opened to unleash another shrill cry, spreading its wings in a threat display. The sound ended abruptly as the beak snapped shut, and, its warning delivered, the large bird beat its wings to depart from the ground and took once more to the skies.

"NO s**t you made it mad first!" Kyle yelled at Lu, partly to yell at Lu, but mostly to be heard over the roaring winds, both is arms clutching to himself, as the cold started to seep further into his skin and sap the warmth right out of him in a very short period of time.

He opened his mouth to yell something else at Lu when he felt something in front of him his the ground,
"Cybil!" Kyle reached out to grab onto the pokemon, unable to see her through the spitting snow, but he could feel her, laying on the ground.

He had little time to figure out what to do next when the Legendary reappeared and in a terrifying display that made Kyle sure that they were going to see the end right there, the pokemon then stopped, and without another attack, took to the skies.

The light blond Grunt remained half curled on the ground, shivering over his Pokemon, completely stunned with what happened, the wind and snow starting to die down around then slowly.

Being yelled at didn't get much reaction out of Lu, too busy staring up at the legendary in anticipation for their imminent doom. He watched as the bird landed near them, feeling frozen in place.

The bird's cry echoed in his ears even as it flew up again. Time had seemed like it was speeding past him, but it slowed down to normal when Lu realized the pokemon had given them a warning and now was their chance to leave. He took a shaky breath, realizing he was shivering harshly.

"W-we should go now, I think..." He started quietly, stepping towards Kyle. "Is she okay? I don't think th-the base is going to reply..." he breathed, wanting to hurry back already and get away before the Articuno decided a warning wasn't enough. The cold felt like it was piercing his skin, straight to the bone; he didn't want to know what worse things the legendary was capable of.

If Kyle heard Lu, then it certainly didn't show as the man continued to kneel where he was over his Absol, wide yellow eyes staring up at the still clearing sky searching with apprehension for where the Aritcuno might have gone, but as the seconds ticked by, the Grunt could still see no signs of it.

The sun started to leak back through the fog of storm that had settled around that, the ways an immense relief against the half snow covered man, and with a loud exhale of breath Kyle fell backwards onto the ground, not taking his eyes off of the sky but letting the sun do its best to warm him up.
"Holy s**t." He breathed, how the hell did they survive that?

Seeming content to just lay there for the time being, Kyle eventually lifted the dex back up to his head.
"Comm controller... ******** you. Over-"
