Lovelace repeated, finishing off the sandwich and rummaging in the bag for a drink. After a few moments she located a flask, opened it, and poured herself a cup of lukewarm tea. she continued, floating the little plastic lid-cup up to her mouth to take a sip. Sooner or later, and probably sooner, one of them would try to catch her.

It was quite interesting, watching the creature use its powers to drink from a small cup, but the question drew his attention and elicited an apologetic look. "The only office I know of is located in the middle of Camphoreon City," he said, still looking - and even sounding - apologetic, despite the fact he had nothing to do with where the organization was located.

Lovelace asked, sounding incredulous and a little despairing. How was she supposed to get there? Even at night there were people around who could see her and try to interfere with her.

Lovelace scowled and sipped aggressively at her tea. Having found a solution she relaxed a little again and took another sip of her tea. she added after a moment as the thought floated across her mind; it wasn't going to happen but she saw no harm in voicing - minding? English was not made for telepaths - the idle daydream.

She seemed quite displeased with his answer, and he couldn't help but feel bad about it. Or, rather, continue to feel bad about it. "Ah, I'm sorry," he said, his tones still sincerely apologetic. "A letter would be a good idea; they should have some way to receive mail. Are you able to write letters?" Ion asked, honestly curious. Talking pokemon weren't exactly common, and Lovelace seemed very intelligent on top of that, and could even move things telepathically. Did she also have the ability to write? A thought occurred to him though and he looked apologetic again, "Ah, how would you send it?" Sending letters generally necessitated being around a mailbox, which were usually only in towns or cities, which... she was trying to avoid.

That was... that was an excellent question. Lovelace replied and though her face was not human her thoughtful frown was probably still recognizable. she decided, deciding at the same time that she would see if she could get the big human to bring her materials to practice with. Then again maybe she could get it - him? yes, it was a male she thought - to bring her a computer.

Lovelace continued, a slight pause marking moments needed to decide what she ought to call the human that left food and so on for her. She believed he felt sorry for her but still suspected he wanted to cage her in the end, that they all did. She knew about emails, and knew that physical mails existed, but she didn't know how they worked.

She... wasn't certain if she could write a letter? Did that mean she didn't know if she could write a letter, or... that she didn't know if she could write at all? "Have you ever written before?" The teen asked curiously, trying to gauge what the exact problem was. If that was the problem... Could she hold a pen in her hands - or would she use her powers to do it instead? "Typing is easier than writing; writing takes practice, but I'm sure you'll be able to do it," he said encouragingly, believing that she would indeed figure out some way to accomplish it. She seemed quite intelligent so far, and had mastered many things - he had watched her do some of them with her powers - and so remained convinced she would do it somehow.

"An assistant?" He repeated, eyebrows raising a bit. That sounded quite helpful, indeed, and his expression gained a smile in consequence. "If he'll deliver it for you, then you can avoid going to the city yourself a while longer," he reasoned out. Or at least, she could avoid it until such a time as she figured out how to go there discreetly.

Lovelace responded with a slight shrug.
Lovelace continued, Could she persuade him to lend her a computer? That would mean she would actually have to meet up with him again rather than just leaving the bag where he knew to find it in order to replenish the supplies. He did seem to mean well.... She would consider it.

If so she could avoid the city altogether, or at least until.... Until when? When would she feel safe going in there? She wasn't sure that anything could make her feel secure in the presence of so many humans, one at a time was more than enough for her.

He nodded his understanding - typing would definitely be quicker for her than learning how to write and then composing a letter - then smiled as he wondered what her assistant looked like. Presumably said assistant was human, though he was curious to know if it was actually a pokemon. Rather than ask though, he simply quietly filed away such curiosities. "Delivering a letter doesn't sound like too difficult a task," he noted as he folded his hands in his lap, "so I'm sure he'll agree to deliver it for you."

Jozette had finished eating a while ago, and her ears had been slowly lowering back against her head the longer they conversed - which meant the longer Ion went without finishing what little food he'd started eating. He really needed to eat!

"Oh, that would be wonderful," he continued in his usual positive thinking. "If they came to you, then you wouldn't need to go into the city at all--"

"Bwurr," the Braixen interrupted suddenly, both verbally and physically as she abruptly shoved half a sandwich in Ion's face, her expression vaguely displeased and unimpressed.

"Ah - thank you Jozette," the teen said with his tones and expression a mix between grateful and apologetic, and accepted the sandwich from her. She nodded once in approval before she turned and began putting various picnic items away, deeming their lunch about done. Still appearing apologetic, Ion dutifully took a bite of the sandwich his pokemon had so obviously wanted him to eat. In the middle of such an intriguing conversation, he'd just about forgotten that they'd come there for lunch, which included actually eating more than a few bites of something.

Lovelace hummed agreement, though she was internally unsure of whether or not the favour would be granted. Humans were unpredictable things, you never could tell.

This was perhaps a little abrupt but Lovelace didn't notice that it might be and wouldn't have cared much if she did. As she packed up her tea flask and so on she did however wonder how it was she ought to part from the human. She found that she hadn't the faintest idea and so she asked;

"Ah, of course," Ion replied after he'd finished his bite of sandwich, his brows raised a bit. While Jozette had been packing things away, Ion had been too focused on the conversation to notice and so he was somewhat surprised Lovelace was leaving, unlike his Braixen. Still, it had been an interesting conversation, one he had enjoyed. "I suppose we should be on our way as well."

Customary farewells? He paused a moment or two to ponder a response. "Typically people will simply say 'goodbye' or wave," he lifted a hand to demonstrate, "or they'll talk a little about when they'll see each other next." That was probably the first time he'd ever had to explain how to end a conversation with someone, and inwardly he hoped it had been at least somewhat helpful.

Lovelace replied, copying the wave Ion had demonstrated. Seen as this was apparently what was required she picked up her bag, gave a last nod to her picnic companions, and turned to head back into the trees.

"I'm glad to have met you, and I enjoyed having the chance to speak with you," the teen said earnestly. "Goodbye!" Ion returned the farewell with a sincere wave rather than a demonstrated one, though Jozette paid little attention to the departing Mewtwo in favor of finishing packing up their things. Interesting indeed; it wasn't often at all he had the chance to interact with a pokemon that could speak.
