Who do you play? [SSB]

What character do you play as in Super Smash Bros?
(Abbreviated as SSB in the title, because I didn't feel like typing that...)

It can be Brawl, Melee, or the original (which I have not played).
Also the new game, which I do not now the title of, if anybody has it (is it even out yet?)

In Brawl, I play as Toon Link, and occasionally as Peach or Ice Climbers. Though, I'm not nearly as good with them as I am with Toon Link. If I'm on a different person's system and they don't have Toon Link though, I play as Link, because their moves are almost the same... though Toon jumps much higher than regular Link I noticed.

I played Melee before and it corrupted my Game Cube.

Have you had any experience before having that happen?

If it didn't corrupt my game cube, I would likely play as Link. I like him.
