It always felt like the sun was being too harsh on Hyun-Jae when she awoke after a night of living it up. That giant ball in space was capable of sniping her through the eyes from millions of miles away. Her head felt as cloudy as the skies and her eyes wanted nothing more than to remain shut for the next thirty seven days. The overtired girl stifled a yawn with the back of a hand and tried to roll onto her side. A pressure on her arm made itself known and Hyun - a tad bit confused and surprised - turned to see what was obstructing her movement. Someone, another girl specifically, was currently using it as a pillow. Hyun dropped her head back in defeat. "Ugh, why do I do this to myself?" She groaned, placing the heel of her hand against her forehead. The girl on her arm stirred and turned, flashing some very pretty green eyes up at her. Uh oh, that was her cue to leave. Hyun casually pulled herself free and went about collecting the clothes she had haphazardly discarded the night before. The floor teetered and threatened to flip over and she had to take a second to steady herself. The girl spoke from the bed, a question or something completely unimportant. Hyun-Jae wasn't going to give this girl her name or bother to get back to her at any point in her life. She was the queen of one night stands and this was just another Tuesday for her. "Where are you going?" The girl called out louder, making Hyun flinch and almost fall on her face while she was pulling her pants on. She gestured blindly towards the bathroom and hurried off, hopping on one foot as she struggled to pull her boots on. Jae shut the door behind her and slumpd as an audible sigh escaped her lips. This girl was one of those who got attached and tried to stick around. She'd have to make a grand escape. She slipped on her sunglasses and gazed around, spotting a window on the other side of the bathroom. A faint smile spread across her face and Hyun-Jae swiftly made her way to it, pushing it up with as little noise as possible. The girl had started talking from the other side of the door, going on and on about how they should get breakfast and maybe have dinner together. Hyun couldn't get out of that place fast enough. When the fresh air filled her lungs and the sun warmed her skin Jae actually grinned. Another notch for her bed post and she got away before things got weird. Without a single look backward she set off at a slow saunter, focusing more on walking straight and less on continuing her swift getaway.

Hyun-Jae was facing her next obstacle of the day: her mother. With one look at her daughter she already knew what she had been doing for the night. "Staying out all night without a word! Honestly, I raised you better than this!" Most of their conversations started out like this, though honestly Hyun didn't mind so much. She closed distance between them and wrapped her arms around her mother, silencing her nagging and getting a smile from her. "I got lost and decided to sleep out on a bench." Hyun-Jae lied smoothly, electing to not tell her mother about her sexcapades and bar hopping. A silent agreement to not delve any further into what really happened. Hyun and her mother had a great relationship, it was full of love and acceptance and maybe a bit too much worrying. It was warming. Her mother brushed a stray lock of hair out of her face and smiled at her. "You received a scroll, looks official. May want to look into it soon." Hyun-Jae groaned and released her mother, moving through their compound to make it to her room. Her family was very well off. The Hyuuga Clan was incredibly famous and very wealthy. Jae had grown up with that but had been raised by great people. She never took her family being well off for granted and didn't see herself as better than other people. Jae slid open the door to her room and beheld the scroll, her joy sapping away. That was indeed a mission scroll. Guess it was time to get to work.

Hyun-Jae had been recounting her morning and wondering how she ended up in a four way brawl with people who wholeheartedly wanted to see her on the wrong side of dead. She slid her foot back and pivoted around a straight kick and deftly wrapped an arm around the attacker's leg. Her other arm crossed her body and bent at the elbow, driving the bone into the side of her target's knee. The woman shouted in pain as a resounding crack went out. Jae didn't have much time to revel in her perfectly executed attack because someone's fist decided to acquaint itself with her face. She rolled with the blow and bent to the ground, using the momentum to keep rolling and getting back on her feet. Right away she had to bring her arms up to defend. Years of training kicked in and her body reacted before she truly had a chance to think. Her hand and arm bent like a mantis and waved through the air, redirecting an attack as she took an instep, thrusting two fingers forth and emitting a blast of chakra forth. Hyun-Jae could see with her special eyes that she had indeed collapsed that chakra point. With a practiced motion she twirled and attacked another point. On the outside these attacks were actually not all that menacing. It was what they did on the inside that was terrifying. Each hit she brought on shut down a path her victim's chakra could take. And Hyun-Jae was not done with her onslaught. As the other two participators in this battle dueled with flames and earthen boulders, Jae relentlessly attacked these fine points, using her enhanced sight to see behind the flesh and bones. Her precision was immense, even twenty nine strikes in. Her current opponent had missed his chance to defend and counter, all he could do now was gasp in pain and wait for her to finish. Thirty one, fourty five, fifty two, and finally sixty four. The last hit drove the man down right onto his backside and onto the floor. Off to her left Hyun could see that the duel had been one and now this brawl was down to two. Hyun-Jae spread her hands out and began to spin like a top, her chakra launching out and forming a barrier around her. The flames that had been shot out at her met the rotation and twirled away. The firestarter shot out another ball of flames from her gullet, but Jae was already moving. She dipped her shoulder and felt the heat uncomfortably close to her. A transformation took place then, the cursed aura pushing over her body and augmenting her leg. A flame shot down from her leg and launched it skyward just as she leaped from the ground. Her knee slammed into the woman's chin and the telltale sound of teeth crunching against each other signified the end. The woman stumbled to the floor, clutching her bloodied mouth meekly. "What happened to all that finesse?" She spit out while Hyun-Jae crouched over her to bind her hands together. With as little grace and ease she could manage the girl hoisted the bloodied woman onto her knees and ruffled her hair. "Sometimes a heavy handed approach is better." Finally she stood up and stretched her arms over her head. A groan escaped her lips and Jae wanted to just lay down right then and there. She was a fine kunoichi and all but these NPCs gave her a run for her ryo. Lifting her right arm slowly she sucked in a breath past her teeth and felt the bruise on her ribs. The punch to her face could have been worse had she been more grounded, but that still hurt of course. "God why the hell did I choose this career?" Jae said to herself in between opening and closing her jaw to work it some. A sudden murmur went up around her and Hyun-Jae became aware that a crowd of civilians had formed. She smiled broadly and bowed theatrically, sweeping her arms low to some applause. Truthfully she hadn't taken down the brawlers alone. They did a lot of the work themselves. Just goes to show how little you can trust a ruffian. This merry band of misfits had been going around and extorting shops for cash, claiming it was all for protection. When someone couldn't or wouldn't pay up, it was them who caused destruction. It was a nice system really till their true colors had shown and the group broke down. Really Hyun merely had to step back and let them do most of the work, but a part of her enjoyed the excitement and adrenaline rush from a fight. A throng of fellow shinobi pushed through the crowd and took over the situation. Hyun-Jae had done her job, now it was time to go and do whatever pleased her at the moment.

Direct hits on the opponent take away [10] chakra points. When hitting an opponent with Hyuuga techniques, 10% of the usual chakra drain is applied. For example, using the complete 8 Trigrams 64 Palms on an opponent will take 64 points as opposed to 640.

Due to the inherent ability to passively absorb natural chakra, Jyuugo members find themselves able to passively regenerate 10 chakra per post.

                                    Enhanced Survivalist Body
After hundreds of years spent in the wilds and also being changed subtly by Nature Energy, the Jyuugo Clan has gained a greater physical prowess than the rest of the world. All jutsu attacks are 1 rank less effective against people with this bloodline, and jutsu 3 ranks lower than them are negated entirely. -

                                    Natural Selection
Due to the unique nature of their body, the Jyuugo Clan’s elements are diluted in Nature Energy, which is naturally more stable and denser than normal chakra. Due to this, the elements are now adapted into the physical transformation, granting them Increases to their Base Stats based on their desired form. Only three different forms may be used in battle. They do not need to have this element to use the transformation. Their attunement to nature energy naturally allows them to access these forms.

Remi and Dani Tsuizu

So you think you have what it takes...

Remi and Dani both met up at the entrance to the cloud district and let each other know nothing had happened. As they surveyed the area they saw where a fight had broken out and had escalated rather quickly. Questioning the shopkeepers on what happened they documented this to report to the Raikage. After they finished the two siblings headed for the dormatories.
...Then think again.

xxxxxThe rocks cracked under Toshiko's feet as she passed between the empty stalls and buildings that were once vibrant and full of life. No color or trace of that existed anymore in her village. Buildings were falling apart, being reclaimed by the earth, having been left to weather and fall apart. It pained her, in every part of her being to know that even the village itself was slowly dying now, just as many of its previous residents. She stopped in front of the empty doorway of a small book store she had once visited. Images of the old woman who used to run the store flashed through her head as she made her way into the small building. She pushed a fallen support beam out of the way, slipping all the way inside. Little remained of the shop now. Its bookshelves had been rotted away, and papers were scattered all across the floor. Here and there, a book still lingered, having survived the test of time. Turning around, she stepped back out into the street, looking around, hopping to see some brief glimpse of life in the old town, but nothing stirred.

xxxxxShe flashed back, in bits and pieces to the day the village fell. It started small, whispers in dark alleys and nameless terrors. All along the borders to the country, small bands of mercenaries and bandits had risen up, and each time they did, they would be put down instantly by Kumogakure, but the battles took their toll. With each passing day, they had fewer and fewer shinobi left to defend their own village. Before she knew it, the uprisings had reached the very walls of Kumogakure. As much as she wanted to defend her village, she knew that she couldn't do it with the forces she had left. She instead ordered all of her people to evacuate, and she herself stayed in the village to the very end, holding off wave after wave of attacker. Every time she struck one down, another dozen would take its place. Their numbers had seemed endless. No matter how many she wiped aside, more seemed willing and able to come forward to challenge her. When the last of her people had finally escaped, she created a massive wall of iron, and escaped while her enemies attacked it.

xxxxxAfter that, she wandered from place to place, never staying in any one place for too long. Without her village, she felt homeless, alone, and detached from the rest of the world. She had lost her purpose in life, and had failed to protect the village that so many before her had given their lives for. Just thinking of those days brought tears streaming down her face. She collapsed against the side of a building, crying their alone in the silence of that lonely street. Toshiko thought back to the leaders before her. Of Kisuke and Kaisen, and of all the others who had led the way before her and stood beside her when she had become Raikage. They were all scattered, distance memories now. It was only her left now, and the shame of losing her village was hers alone to bear. That was why when she found herself in a secluded section of the Rain country, that she finally decided it was time to stop running. Instead, she had found herself a small shack, rotting in the woods, that quickly became her home. Instead of facing her problems, she hid as far away from them as possible and looked for answers in the bottom of a bottle instead. Instead of looking for allies to retake her homeland, she alienated herself from everyone and everything she had ever known. Instead of simply accepting that what had happened was out of her control, she became critical of everything she had ever done before, rerunning the battle in her head day after day, hoping there was something she could have done instead that would have spared her village its fate.

xxxxxNight had begun to fall before Toshiko finally rose from her position, wiping the tears from her eyes. Instead of sorrow, she was now filled with anger. Anger for those who had taken her home from her. Anger for those who had attempted to kill her and the people in her village. The ground around her began to rumble and shake as she clenched her fist. Her new purpose was clear. No matter how long, or how hard the process, her village would rise again. Or she would die trying. [Exit]

                                                                            • Can perform Jiton and doton with simple gestures.
Blood of Iron: This allows the user to manipulate iron sand in the area around them that they unearth or create. This is heavier than sand techniques, and can be used to neutralize them with techniques. The amount manipulated varies by rank, and this amount is always with them, be it in a gold, in the ground below, or however. This amount cannot exceed the amount that is allowed to be manipulated at that rank. The speed of the sand is one higher than your speed if using hands to manipulate it, or your speed normally. It is as strong as you are as well.
                                                                            Genin: about 50 gallons
                                                                            Chuunin: 100 gallons
                                                                            Jounin: 200 gallons
                                                                            Sannin: 400 gallons

                                                                            • The Control: Your own earth techniques can all instantaneously be converted into the metal element, which applies the one rank bonus (on metal) to them. Furthermore, all rock (excluding enemy-controlled earth) within ten feet of you can be converted into metal quite quickly.
                                                                            • Sticks and Stones: All large clusters of metal can be manipulated by simple body motions. All smaller clusters can be manipulated with your mind.
                                                                            • The Shift: A Wu Xing can manipulate the weight and size of metals. Because of this, they can change an outgoing projectile to be extremely large and heavy, or extremely light and only moderately sized. This can increase blunt damage, speed, strength, etc; it's up to your imagination. Obviously, smaller and lighter objects will be faster but will damage less upon impact.
