Natural Ability: Normally has a humanoid form of semi-incorporeal energy, leaving her wooden body behind. It is 'semi-incorporeal' in that it can't pass through things like a ghost but neither can it do more than open doors (aka anything requiring real motor control) without having to take her wooden body once more. In this form Atarah is nearly weightless and can run at great speeds.
Adult jinn have the ability to take on (aka possess) any form that is required to carry out the task of leading people down the path of 'evil'. Usually this is some sort of animal form but it can be human. All that is required is the bones of the creature which was why, in early days, burning a body was required to keep it safe from the reach of the jinn. Atarah cannot yet do this and thus inhabits a body provided for her in the meantime, made of wood.

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Atarah is not the most skilled at doing what it is a jinn needs to do. She's alright at whispering in the ears of others and, in her incorporeal energy form is elegant and graceful. However to be truly successful a jinn must be able to take an animated form and, so far, Tara has only managed to take inanimate objects. A true jinn can rearrange the bones of a person and create flesh over them, something she hopes to be able to do soon.
Because she cannot manifest a body from bones, cannot take an animal form, and is the most basic concept of what a jinn is, her family has purchased her this body to inhabit during her time in Amity.
FEAR Ability:
[T1] - This attack is of the Pulse type of FEAR. Pulling a small amount of glowing energy out of the sphere at her neck Atarah can place the energy either on a wound she has sustained or a wound an ally has sustained. It will slowly stretch across the wounded area like a bandage, healing over time for turns as specified by the dice. The blue energy dissipates over these turns until it vanishes entirely.

The glowing around her neck is where her essence is kept. Most of her energy and power originates from this source and it cannot be removed from her neck without first severing her head from her shoulders. When Atarah is not in her body this sphere does not glow.
