I'm a flute player in marching band and we have section leaders for each section that are supposed to help teach. There is this one flute player that does not know how to tongue and I've used all traditional methods to try to help her. I'm not sure if she's just not putting effort into actually practicing how to tongue, but we have to play eighth note triplets staccato at around 170-180 bpm during the show and it is grating on my ears when I hear it not being played right. Is there anything that I could do to fix the problem?
