[FIN] A Case of Mistaken Identity

"Oh well," Aulus shrugged, "you can train. Take my advice though and consider your options sooner rather than later, drifting around aimlessly doesn't get you promoted." There, wasn't he being the good responsible agent, and so long as he didn't focus on her hair he was hardly creeped out by her at all! Sounded like she might end up as a dedicated field agent though, or maybe in transport? Whatever, she could look into it for herself and unless she actually asked him for help/advice he was happy for that to be that. If she did ask of course he would have to continue being responsible and so on but he seemed to be coping alright with that at the moment so he supposed it was no big deal.

Train? That didn't sound like much fun, but it was necessary, she supposed... "Mm, yeah, that would make sense... Guess I better pick something and stick with it, huh?" She mused aloud. Too bad she couldn't pick 'water sports' as a department. That would be the best department, hands down. Best ever.

"Alright, well, thanks for the advice. I'm gonna head off now though, just got off my shift and feel all gross and stuff, y'know," she said as she made a face, which implied 'I need to go shower and/or change out of these clothes after doing way too many menial tasks for the last eight hours' or something similar. "It was cool talking to you though."

"Mmh, no problem," Aulus replied with a nod, and it hadn't been after he'd got done with freaking out and hiding around corners. Hiding around corners was no good whether it had been her not not, lest it be to line up for a headshot. If he ever did see her again he'd kill her... or catch her and hand her over to their interrogation specialists. The thought would turn his stomach were it anyone else but she?- she wasn't really human, and she had it coming. Tit for tat, and eye for an eye and a scream for a scream? He wondered how Tethys screamed. He rather hoped he got to find out.

"I'll probably see you about then, carry on." With a last nod to the other Rocket Aulus turned away and headed off about his business.

"Yeah, see you," Candice said in return, then turned to continue the way she had been originally headed. She did still wonder just what had caused him to gasp like that at first, though...
