[PRP] An Unexpected Meeting

Though her face was not human the thoughtful frown on Lovelace's face was probably recognizable. she said after a a brief pause, Since she had escaped her slaver she had to admit that thus far she hadn't actually met any humans that had tried to do her harm and in the face of evidence such as that she had to begin to question herself. Questioning herself however did not mean leaping into trust either, one had to be cautious in this world.

Lovelace soon continued, her tail twitching with displeasure. The human's offer... well it appeared kind but she felt that taking it up would be too much right now. Perhaps she would take it up one day. Shaking her head slightly Lovelace picked up her pace slightly, there was still food in her bag but extra food never went amiss.

"Hey, no worries. The offer stands, should you need it." Kadota looked Lovelace over thoughtfully, holding back a couple of branches where the trees were close together, so she could pass through more easily. "Yeah, you'd stick out like a sore thumb in Camphoreon, no matter who you were with. Might be able to get away with it during rush hour, though, if you covered up some. Everyone's so busy trying not to step on each other that there's no way they'll really bother to look at someone in a heavy coat and hood. After you?"

He followed her into the clearing, where they were met by the sight of a large patch of perfectly-ripe rawst berries and a couple of content berry-juice-besmeared Pokémon. Georgia quickly flitted off his shoulder to land next to the other two. "Do I even want to know how many you two have eaten already?" he asked, with a raised eyebrow at the Hawlucha and the Bulbasaur.

The innocent looks on each of their faces would fool absolutely no one. "I'm not carrying either of you back this time if you overate, not after last time. You'll have to walk or ride in the ball," Kadota informed them, settling down on a patch of grass to pick at one or two of the berries himself.

Rush Hour? Lovelace filed that away under 'things to find out about', why was there an hour when everyone rushed? Was there a curfew they had to meet? She knew about curfews from a variety of dystopian novels but she didn't recall the term rush hour. she said after a few moments, stepping past the human into the clearing.

So those were rawst berries were they? She'd seen patches of them around but she hadn't known if they were safe to eat or not. Content that they had to be if everyone else was gobbling them she picked a couple to sample. she said with pleased surprise as she chewed. This human and these pokemon were proving an invaluable source of information so far, it wouldn't hurt to have them come back.

You didn't have to be a Psychic-type to read the oh boy! oh please oh please oh please! expressions on all three of Kadota's Pokémon. He couldn't help a chuckle. "Yeah, sure. That sounds like a good idea. Maybe in a week or two?" The question was directed at Lovelace, on the theory that she'd have some idea as to how soon they'd be ready, though his little trio seemed to take it as a promise. What would he ever do with them... ?

"We could meet up again if you want? If your research isn't keeping you too busy, that is. Though admittedly I'm not sure how we'd get in contact with you ... " His eyes lingered on her bag briefly. "You have a phone, or a Pokénav?"
