[PRP] Killing Time

Tch. How quick was an average wild Jolteon? He didn't have a lot of interaction with other pokemon, let alone with wild ones or ones of his own kind. Static prickled through his fur. Would a wild Jolteon attack to disable the opponent and more easily claim the prize? It wouldn't be an intelligent way to proceed under his present circumstances, though, not with so many other pokemon around. His goal was to have something good to eat, not to make enemies of strangers.

Surely even a wild pokemon knew how to use trial and error, though, so it shouldn't be too odd if he made his movements a bit less predictable. Watching the human and the thing in her hand, the Jolteon tensed as if to leap and then held the posture. He waited, waited, waited, waited, and then finally sprang forward.

The wide smirk over the woman’s lips didn't even falter, nor did her hand even twitch to close as the Jolteon made a dash for the treat, meaning that the Jolteon would certainly get the small hard candy that had previously been in the palm of the woman’s hand.
Ray let out a long whistle, slowly withdrawing the hand she had extended fingers curling a little but was soon reaching for another treat.
“Alright, well you won that one, let’s see if you can get this next one.”
Hm, it appeared to her that he might be onto her little game, very clever this one.

“…Pika- Pi Pika“ the Pikachu said a little thickly, as if muttering something to the women, the Jolteon would most certainly hear

Ray opened her eyes a little wider as her attention was drawn to the Pikachu, her lips parting slightly over her teeth before she snickered and shook her head “Shhh yeah I know, I’ll get him more.”
Clearly a women being caught doing something that she shouldn't be.

The Pikachu frowned as if he wasn't convinced, turning back to the candy and the women but otherwise saying nothing more of protect.
she really should be asking Double Stripe before she goes offering the candies to another pokemon.
But the fact that she was doing this with him was odd in its own right.
Sure wild pokemon show up from time to time, a lot of whose faces look very familiar as they make a point to visit from time to time. But they are usually ignored or otherwise treated as passing visitors, Ray took an interest in very few of them, usually when she saw an interesting potential in them that she didn’t see in many of the wild pokemon in the aria.
This one though, there was definitely something she was interested in when it came to him, and she was going to do what she could to try and figure that out.

Again the women put a treat on her palm, and held it out toward the Jolteon, again she settled into an expression of disarming calm and half lidded disinterest, though her mossy eyes once again settled onto the white pokemon
