He swung again, missed, and landed with a clink of bone. Rojo hadn't had any real expectations regarding the difficulty of this task, but it seemed he couldn't even hit one single bat. He wound up to strike again, noticing Alpinely out of the corner of his sight just before he flailed the board. She didn't look so good.
With a faint noise of concern, Rojo jogged to her side, taking a seat on his skateboard. He leaned close. "Aaaaaaaal?"

It was her hearing that picked up a seemingly distance call, but Alpinely didn't know if it was just a part of a dream of hers or if she was being awoken by someone. How long had she been out? At first, she wondered if she was waking up at her dorm room, but memory returned to her of the whacking of plush rats and having been hit by one being the last thing she remembered. Slowly she blinked once then twice more. Was there always two Rojos? Did he have a twin? And how did he or they learn to spin together like that? Really neat! "Hi!" Alpinely lifted a hand in a cheerful wave to Rojo or the two Rojos, seemingly the first part of her being to regain function while the rest of her seemed comfortable enough currently lying where she was at the moment. Wait, was one of them using a natural ability to disappear now?

Batty had wandered off long before the course's magic began to fade, but his bats remained, watching from the trees; evaluating. Which of these scarelings was the most vicious, the most crafty? The bats weren't all that intelligent as a group, but they heard things. They had heard whispers and rumors of disappearing students—strong, smart boils and ghouls who returned with smiles and sacks of seeds.
The bats kept watching until the last of the creatures below them left. In their little bat brains, they pondered.Quote: Class is over! You may continue posting for as long as you'd like to wrap up!
Over time, the rat maze will begin to crumble and fade until it no longer exists. Each day between now and December 4th signifies the passage of 20 minutes.
November 30 Plush rats begin to fall from their perches to join the ones on the floor.
December 1 All the rats are down now. It's not much of a challenge to hit them when they're all so close, and it's a little annoying to skateboard between them.
December 2 The walls start to crack and chunks of them drop away harmlessly.
December 3 Much larger bits of wall from much higher up are falling now, though they dissipate by the time they hit the ground, so no one is hurt. The rats are fading away as well.
December 4 The course is gone.
You get two RP points for attending this class, and a third if you've written 800 words or more in this thread! Thank you very much for attending!

Emily slowly shook her head and half smiled at him, as she was trying to hold in any laughter that was seeking it's way out. "It was a fine first go of it, you'll do better the with this run." She let her board drop from her hand and watched it fall to the floor, luckily it didn't have far to go and landed wheels down. She placed a timid foot on the skateboard and moved it a few time. It seemed easy enough, she could do this. With a quick glance and nod to vamp, then pushed off and was on her way to the easy course. She was all wibbly wobbly at first, her arm stuck right out for balance and flailed about at the first sign that she might tip over. ' Ok, I can do this! Just hit that rat, it's right in front of you, just smack it good and get off this thing.' The ghoul thought to herself. She rolled so slowly up to a plush rat and hit it with a flailing arm. It wasn't a graceful display for skill by any measure but it got the job done. She let loose a little 'whoop' and headed back to the start just as slowly as she left. Easy course HP: 29/30 Score: 33

He raised a hand and waved enthusiastically. "Hi! Are you okay?" She seemed all right, but she was also lying on the floor, something he only did when something was wrong. Rojo gave a nearby wall a curious look as a bit of it flaked away. Class was over? He hadn't even hit any rats.
