This was the first time Rosie had ever battle with Citrine, she knew the girl wanted to improve on her training, and Rosie was more than willing to help out, but for now Rosie felt like it would be best to see just where the girl was at and more importantly get a better idea of how she and her pokemon worked together, then they could start from there.
With that aside though, Rosie was still really looking forward tot his battle, it was always fun to compete against friends. It was a lot less stressful then fighting someone that meant to do you or your pokemon harm.
Oh the sidelines sat a number of Rosie's other pokemon, to be precise, it was each of the members of her primary team, set in to watch the battle of their other team mates.
Rosie smiled as the battle conditions were accepted, and with a slick of her wrist the girl tossed the heal ball out into the air, and with a burst of bright glittering light the ball opened, and the energy spilled out onto the ground in jagged arches, taking the form of a long creature before bursting away.
Ballet, the white Quilava snapped her pink eyes open, tossing her head up with sharp cry of battle before vivid pink flames erupted from her hind and heck. "LAVA!"

Ballet's eyes widened as she was frisked, squirming and wiggling to try and get away, before letting out a huff of fire from her mouth as the Banette wouldn't find anything.
Rosie smiled at Ballet's indignation to Banette's ability move, though it faded slightly as the battle finally started with a ghost type move that was certainly bound to hit first, no matter how quickly Ballet was.
The Quilava's eyes widened as she looked down, seeing the concrete below her feet suddenly go black as something swiftly moved under her, her instinct was to jerk backwards, and that would ultimately find her right in the striking range of the Ghost's attack. Feeling the Ghost's attack along her back, Ballet let out a startled cry as she was knocked forward, some of the flames locking off of her body in the sudden forced jolt of movement. It was still the first strike though, and the fire type was able to regain herself and on Rosie's cry of "Flame charge!" and a heavy "QUI!" The fire type's body suddenly erupted into spitting orange and pink flames, roaring violently across the white pokemon before she made a tacking dive at the Ghost pokemon.

Ballet let out a high pitched cheer, a burst of orange flames gushing from her mouth in a moment of celebration before she allowed herself to sit down, her unconscious opponent being withdrawn back into his poke ball.
"Good job Ballet~" Rosie cheered, the voice drawing the scorched Pokemon's attention with perked ears. Rosie was proud of her Pokemon, not just becasue she won, but becasue of how much effort she always gave when she was put in battle. Rosie couldn't ask for more then that, and every time she was just amazed with their progress. Taking a moment to assess Ballet's damage from her previous fight, Rosie's eyes then drifted toward the pokemon that had been released as her opponent. Her eyes widened slightly, she had heard of Spiritomb before, but becasue of how rare and dangerous they were she had never seen one before, let alone battle one. Dark and Ghost type, she didn't have any more experience with them, this the coming battle would be a good learning opportunity.
"Are you up for another round Ballet?" Rosie called, the white pokemon flattening her ears as she too stared across the field toward her opponent. The burns she had sustained were going to start taking affect in worse ways. had she been clear from that then she would be fine, but... "Quilava" She cooed back, looking over to Rosie who understood and reached out a hand to return Ballet back into her Pokeball.
Now came the next decision... Rosie had a Pokemon on this team that had a type advantage, ideally Rosie would call out on Celtic to battle, but that felt somewhat cheap when the opponent was a friend who was too trying to learn. plucking up another pink ball from her belt, Rosie instead called out a much larger creature. Her body was white again, decorated in a variate of gold accessories and who's flaming main and tail billowed a brilliance of pastel colors.
Princess Celestia clicked her golden hooves against the battle ground, throwing her head up high as pink eyes cast to her swirling dark opponent.

(rolling for turns that sleep lasts) (edit: 1 turn)
The attack, though internally caused the Rapidash to jerk in her sleep in a measure of pain, tossing herself from her feet and falling to the ground on her side. Flames continued to lick up from her body, though with a significantly dull vigor.
Rosie winced slightly but made sure to keep her eyes on the battle anyway, internally debating with herself to call Celestia back, or to let her try and hang in there for a few more rounds. In the end it came down to Rosie just needing to pay attention to the pokemon's state, she would make the call if things got worse.
It was with a breath of relief, when Celestia shifted on the ground, and her eyes fluttered open. Rosie perked up and clapped her hands together as the Rapidash sat up, shook her groggy head out and pulled herself back to her hooves with a measure of difficulty from the damage she was sure she sustained from whatever attack during her sleep.
"You okay?" Rosie called out to Celestia, earning a gentle whinny in reply. Kicking her flames back into action and turning her gaze onto the Spiritomb. "When you can, lets give him a Flame wheel, alright?" Rosie told her Pokemon who gave a gentile snort as flames starting to erupt over Celestia's body, the tall orange inferno beginning to swirl as she prepped the attack.
