After realizing that she had yet to visit the northern trainer center, Nicolette immediately set out to correct such a grave travesty (and to sate her nearly endless curiosity for things), and had packed enough food and other supplies to last her a good couple of days. She didn't anticipate needing all of it, but better safe than sorry, in her opinion. The trip there still took quite some time, even though she rode on her Rapidash almost the whole way, and after a bit of exploring and training, she realized what time it was and decided it'd be best to spend the night.

Not longer than one night, though; this center didn't have much that held her interest - the eastern center was more her cup of tea - and so she didn't feel the need to stay too long. Still, she didn't need to leave too soon, and so she didn't set out with her pokemon until around noon. That would give her plenty of time to get back to Camphoreon before dark, she surmised. So, with that thought in mind - and one last check to make sure she had all of her belongings and her pokemon snug in their pokeballs - the petite girl mounted her hornless Rapidash, and the pair set out across the desert at a quick pace, Epona's cream-colored mane and tail billowing out and trailing behind her as she galloped across the desert sands.

Sorry this took me forever and a day XD;

Eden had set out across the desert early that morning in hopes of getting in some training, as well as some very much needed alone time. Being a part of Team Rocket was both exciting and tiring at times, and Eden was glad to have a day off. That being said, she had ventured out into the desert in her normal clothes, leaving her Rocket uniform behind as it seriously needed a wash before she wore it again. She hadn't interacted with anyone other than her Team Rocket team mates since she'd joined, and she wasn't sure if she was ready to meet any trainers yet; that was why she chose the desert for her day off. That, and she was hoping she might come across some fire Pokémon.

She'd been training most of the morning, enjoying desert scenery, and spending a lot of time just in her own head thinking. She was thinking she had better head back to headquarters soon, only...she had no idea which way that was. She had gotten completely turned around. Memories of being lost in Lumiose City flashed before her mind, only she wasn't scared this time like she was then. She was much older and had Pokémon with her. Still, being lost in the desert wasn't very appealing.

She had let her Fennekin, Anya, out of her Pokéball to wander around with her and was now encouraging her to help her find the way back 'home.' She was a bit wary though, for Anya seemed to be a bit mischievous at times. Still, she knew Dia wouldn't know the way back, and Sameth was no match for these desert sands. "It's up to you, Anya," she told her Fennekin. Just then however, a sound met their ears. Something was coming their way. Eden turned to see a Rapidash running straight towards them. She thought there might be Ponyta (one of her favorite Pokémon) out here, but she never expected to see a Rapidash. She tensed and readied for battle, but then sighed a sigh of relief as she saw a rider upon the Rapidash. It wasn't a wild Rapidash then. Hopefully this trainer would pay her no mind; wild Rapidash or not, she did not wish to battle anyone today, especially not with her Pokémon tired after a morning of training.

((No worries! Sorry this took so long too D: ))

One of Nicolette's absolute favorite things was to ride Epona as the Rapidash went all-out, galloping across the plains near her home city - but here was neither her home city nor smooth plains to gallop on, so the fire-type's gait was a tad slower from the shifting desert sands below her hooves. The girl atop her back enjoyed her ride regardless, savoring the feeling of her trusty Rapidash below her as the wind blew around her, the--

Oh, there was a person!

A quiet signal caused Epona to slow to a trot, then to a walk, as they neared the other person. A girl, it looked like. "Hello!" Nicolette called cheerfully, waving a hand in polite greeting before adding in sincere and pleasantly surprised tones, "I didn't expect to see anyone else out here."
