- Like most any healthy kid, Hana is just a little ball of energy. She has a habit of making a joke out of any situation and has trouble recognizing the mood. She tries her best, though, and is admittedly better at it than most of her peers. A diligent worker, she's not shy of nagging someone who she feels is missing something or not doing something right.
For all her sass, though, Hana has a knack for ceremony. She wasn't quite raised of high society but she was raised as an important part her village alongside her village's equivalent of a noble family. While retaining the playful charm of childhood, her movements are graceful and she can easily act the part of revered shrine maiden, high-born noble, or something similar if given the lines.
Hana's goal, as she likes to say it, is to be a "friend to everyone far and wide, alll the way to the moon and back and to infinity and beyond!". She actually chose to specialize in medicine primarily for that reason. She kind of knows that she's not supposed to help enemies, and as a child, she follows the rules set by the adults. However, that doesn't mean she doesn't really, really want to help even her enemies. About the only reason why she wouldn't want to treat someone's wound if they want to kill her, then she's hesitant.
Of Hana's many strengths, perhaps her most extraordinary is her peace of mind. Regardless of what emotion she's feeling, her thoughts are unclouded by the disruptions, and the devilish mood swings of teenagers are nonexistent in her system. She does experience emotions. It's very obvious when she does. Her emotions just aren't without some reason and fail to cloud her judgment. Physically emotional but mentally calm. Just because Hana is sobbing buckets doesn't mean she is paralyzed with shock. In fact, if she isn't thinking about the next step, then she's probably already moving to execute the next step.
It's incredibly rare to see Hana angry, though. Because she can clearly think through any emotional turmoil she may feel and show, something like sorrow inexplicably changing into anger is unheard of for her. That aside, she is too content with her life to feel angry for no reason. She's never made a decision she's regretted. The only stress she feels is related to figuring out how to save someone, stress that she is happy to be burdened with. Maybe in the future, she'll want to see more of the world, but when that time comes, she knows she'll just choose to travel. For now, though, she is genuinely happy and at peace with her life.
