[PRP] Canine Company (Trisha & Erebus)

Two place Erebus could be found regularly in was his room and in the library. And yet, he was in none of these places today. The boil had decided that he should get regular exercise more often and stretch his legs... though this was usually done in his canine form. He was just more comfortable that way.

Panting after his jog, the dog sat on the sidewalk, watching the shoppers mill by.

Trisha wasn't really buying today, just browsing. Getting an idea of possible prom outfits. She was purposefully waiting to buy until after she found out if she got a date from the prom in that one blind date thing. Either she need to match or go stage. She didn't like the idea of the later but she would if necessary. Especially as she was not a stag.

She did happen across a cute puppy while she was about and about. "Oh hello cutie!." she stopped and then bent down just far enough away to let the dog have room but still be within petting distance. She offered the puppy a hand, unconcerned for her scent being like that of a cow. There was a touch of lion her after all.

The last prom he had went to had been rather fun, although Erebus hadn't even meant to go, nor had he known that he had been set up on a date. For this year's prom though? He still wasn't sure, but he sure was going to keep an eye out for his nosy brother....

"Hi!" He said brightly in return, wagging his tail. Erebus didn't mind how people smelled like, as long as they were nice. Exceptions were Gorgons, of course, but no Cerberus liked Gorgons anyway.

Oh wait the puppy talked? Maybe puppy was not really a puppy but perhaps a student? Either way Trisha didn't resist her urge to pet. It was pet pet times. She slowly scratched his head.

"Do you like pettings?" she slowly got closer and petted more without waiting for a response. The puppy seemed rather friendly. Trisha realized that the dog could be older but all dogs were puppies to her.

He was starting to learn his lesson to actually talk more often in his canine form, after the whole fiasco with Lutz had occurred a few days ago.

"How can anyone not like being patted?" Erebus' eyes widened. Okay, maybe he could think of a few that would object to being patted, but once they found out how nice it felt...

His tail thumped happily on the ground in approval.

"I don't know, but it is always polite to ask." Trisha got even closer and continued to pet and then scratched him behind the ears, watching looking for his reaction.

"What kind of pets do you like? Rough pets, soft pets I should probably try to find a bench for this." she giggled. But it was true, her hooves weren't built for this.

"You are a very cute puppy, are you a student?"

"I don't really have a preference." He said, tail wagging happily. Ear scritches were good too!! He closed his eyes in content, enjoying the sensation before snapping them open to answer her next question.

"Um, yeah. I'm a Cerberus. Name's Erebus."

"It's very nice to meet you Erebus, I'm Trisha." she looked around, spotted a bench and stopped petting long enough to walk over and sit, getting down to a more comfortable petting position.

"Here is good." she patter her lap in an indication. Her mind was in full mini pet pet mode. Even though she knew that was a student and not a mini. It did not matter. If he chose to take student from that would be one thing, ok honestly she would probably still want to pet him. It didn't matter with cute fluffy puppies. Trisha was very much a dog person.

"What are you up to Erebus?"
