Sebastian honestly did not see Masako there, and when she popped her little head in to question if he was blind, he wasn't sure how to answer. Women weren't his thing for multiple reasons: They were fiesty if they are straightforward and dominant, but if they are the submissive type then they don't ever mean what they say and it's hard to understand them. And, honestly, v****a is hella disgusting. She then continued with an obvious statement, that made him deadpan. "Of course it was a ******** sharp object, sherlock. The victims were cut up, we've established this." He put his hands in his pockets and boredly listened to Eiji.
Poor Eiji. He wasn't that attractive, and in all honesty, it was something you had to look hard at to appreciate. His voice tho- god it made it tingle. Sebastian calmly listened to what he had to say, and then determined that he was gonna take Alex Gorishek for himself. Elm Street sounded ominous. Alex was a normal a** name, but he probably held a s**t load of hatred for his normal name and decided to go kill off people. It was just a guess. Sebastian spoke out, mostly to Eiji, claiming Alex as his own. "I'll go for him, interrogate him, and bring back the conclusion. You guys split up between you..." He really just didn't wanna wind up with some dramatic b***h like Kya.
Sebastian slipped into the shadows. He changed his body to look more like a child, finding joy in giving others unexpected reactions. As he advanced towards Elm Street, an explosion occurred. Was it by the killer or an extremist? It was hard for him to determine this, after all, the explosion could be a distraction for the killer to kill more. The truth was, he wasn't sure what was going through the killers head. He is relentless, which can be seen in the kill, but he wanted to learn more about the killer instead of the victims. He just hoped that Alex would be the culprit, as he advanced towards his house more.

For the purposes of plot convenience, as the bomb went off, Masako wasn't paying attention, and was instead thinking if Kya was getting fat because she rode a dragon everywhere or turned into a fireball to travel. She really should use her legs more, Masako thought silently to herself. When she finally did notice everyone running over to the explosion, she gently drifted over in a swirl of cherry blossom petals, materializing in the room just after Kya had arrived. She walked over to the blood on the wall, wiping her finger on it. It was still fresh as ever. But the message was clearly aimed at the group. The person knew that someone had come, and worse yet, knew information about the people in the group. Upon reading the message, Masako shot a glance as Kya for a moment. But she would never belittle herself by actually getting her hands dirty. That left herself, Eiji, Maliudex, Aleks, Oga, and Sebastian. She clearly knew that she herself had practically commited genocide in the dark corners of the hospital, but that was only when she was alone. Unless someone could fool an unfoolable sensor, the killer wouldn't know about her either. That left only five. We could use that technique and kill all five of them before they can react, said part of her mind. The other half instantly countered, Not yet, we can use them still. Let us play this game and see where it leads...

When the bomb went off Maliudex froze for a moment to check everybody in the room. Nobody was hurt which was thankful since the explosion didn’t sound that far away. Turning to leave right out of the room he had just entered, Maliudex sprinted down a section of the street before hopping onto the rooftops. After a few seconds of leaping from roof to roof, Maliudex took perch at the roof top of the building across from where the explosion had occurred. The site was producing black and grey smoke that billowed upwards in an ominous cloud, around the base of the buildings a crowd had already gathered and their panicked voices were easily heard. Maliudez always wondered why scened of destruction, panic, and potential danger seemed inviting to helpless civilians; one wrong move and many of them could be dead by any number of factors.
Maliudex focused his attention on the crowd before he began analyzing their auras. If any of them had committed a murder like the one that undoubtedly occurred within the house their emotions would normally feel a sense of regret and insanity. This would force their aura into something darker and instantly reveal that they were hiding something. Unfortunately nobody inside the crowd seemed to have an aura that would be dark enough to be hiding something such as a murder which could mean one of two things: their target wasn’t mingling with the crowd, or that their target experienced no emotional or psychological responses from committing their murders. After a few more minutes of checking and examining the crowd Maliudex decided to join the others within the house.
Upon entering through the hole in the roof, his senses went on full alert in case there were any traps set in place. Unlike the auras surrounding the civilians outside, the auras of those in this room were very…different. They were stronger, more vibrant, and brimming with energy. Maliudex glanced at what was left of the body before reading the message on the wall. It seemed like the others had also read the message but Maliudex didn’t know how to take it. If somebody was evil, he might be able to sense them if he knew that person’s aura well enough. But there was also the chance that nobody was evil and the message was simply being used to throw them off. Maliudex then backed towards one of the walls that remained and cocked his head as he looked at everything in front of him.

Oga was done looking ta the part of the bodies scattered around, words around him just bouncing around in his brain, he did not really care for what those around him were saying, from what he could gather some of them knew each other which would most likely come in handy later if a battle would come to be held, either no one in their right mind would try to fight this group by themselves but in the other hand someone who does this kind of things to human beings was not a sane person. Oga would start looking towards other parts of the bodies scattered around and it seemed like there was more than cuts, pieces and parts also seemed to have been torn apart like a animal had been here feeding, a very hungry animal.
Oga was about to mention it to Alek but as he got up and opened his mouth an explosion would occur, the sound wave would keep a ringing on his ear as all the shinobi gathered ran towards it, "Moths running into the light." Oga would think to himself, there was no point in running towards it, it was obvious that the killer would not be in the building anymore, he was a serial killer, most being clever creatures, most liked playing games with the lives around them and since the group had just entered his domain they became part of the cold blooded game. Oga would make his way towards the explosion walking, it would not take him long to get there, looking at the dragon with intrigued eyes, he had never seen one but that was not the time for admiration, making his way towards where his group was and looking at the general direction they were looking too. "And so the games begin." Oga would say with a cold tone and a smirk on his face.
He'd been sent out on a mission by the Board of Defense to investigate the strange violence and - allegedly - paranormality occurring in the small town of Scaleret. There, he was told to meet his mission partner - Kuhaku Strehkovsky - in a place of commerce within the central area of the city. While vague, he realized upon arriving that with such a small town, there were only a few options for 'commerce' at all. One, a bar that he wasn't allowed to go to, and secondly a more relaxed place; a tavern of sorts where he'd been beckoned to stay by the government of Ta no Kuni. Takahara seated himself before one of the tables and eagerly dug into the food and drinks they'd offered him as a dignitary from the capital. Listening closely to his surrounding peers, he attempted to uncover information around the haunting of Scaleret and information behind the recent horrific murders. Unfortunately, and quite oddly, all was optimistic and joyous in the halls of the establishment.
Takahara could gain nothing from those around him in terms of information. So, he merely leaned back into his seat and waited patiently for Kuhaku to arrive - or if he'd already gotten here - to come find his partner to solve this mystery, and likely get to know him along the way.

Walking through the town he was told to go to, Kuhaku couldn't help but sweatdrop slightly at the place. It was a very dreary looking place so far, nothing but dark buildings and very little light aside from the natural sunlight that shone down upon the place, even with that though it all seemed so dark and drab. Then again supposedly he was being sent here to deal with that, alongside his temporary partner Takahara, the man who supposedly was a floating Jounin who had come from a different village than Otogakure. Kuhaku knew little about the man past the fact that he was apparently a senju, which was a surprising thing to him considering Sumiko had never mentioned other Senju being in the village. Heading towards the place he was supposed to meet the man in, a bar that supposedly had pretty decent food and drinks; the dark-haired male entered the building, scanning within it for a brief moment before noticing his partner sitting at a table with food and drinks scattered around it. Shaking his head softly the male walked forward, stopping in front of the table before sitting down at it. With that done he'd call out to order the same thing as Takahara, not really caring what he was going to get. With that done he'd lean forward slightly, resting his arm atop the arm-rest of the chair as he waited for the man to speak about whatever he wanted to. Kuhaku was just along for the ride after all, he barely knew what he was supposed to be doing here.
Passives • [BLOODLINE] ENHANCED REACTIONS Having spent most of their time in close quarters combat, the Midnight Affair are able to react slightly more quickly to attacks than their opposition, making them just slightly harder to deal with in battle. Sometimes, this edge can make all the difference. Medical: • [BLOODLINE] Caltrops Passive, but Activated Caltropsobjects that can be created by a Midnight Brawler at will. This is one aspect that makes it clear that these techniques come from a hereditary line, or a bloodline. Caltrops can be weaved in the palms of the Midnight Brawler. These objects are generally left all around the field throughout the battle, and do not hurt or impair the Midnight Brawler, but can easily hurt and impair enemies. The caltrops are always poisoned and can easily penetrate even thick boots to stab into someone's feet. The poison can weaken the legs of the target, slowing them by 2 speed and also inflicting pain and infection; these issues will not kill you in battle, but will render you weaker and nauseous. Throughout the battle, more and more will cover the field, thus walking becomes nearly impossible without being constantly wounded. The strings are also laid around the field, connecting from tree to tree; etc. These strings can cut or bind people. Dashing quickly between trees or walls, these strings could easily rip your throat open. • [BLOODLINE] While battling your Sworn Foe (attacking, defending, dodging, etc) you have a +1/+1 base to both stats. You may declare anyone a sworn foe, though there are limits on changing your sworn foe. You can change you sworn foe twice, however upon reaching S-rank you can change three times. • [BLOODLINE] +1 rank to damage reduction (improving on their Taijutsu Class passive) up to Kage rank, upon which they do not improve this bonus. (This means that at Sannin rank you'd be immune to Jounin techniques, but at Kage you don't increase the +1's rank so you're still only immune to Jounin.) • [BLOODLINE] May use one Taijutsu style for free and gain stats, may learn one additional taijutsu style. • [BLOODLINE] Direct hits on the opponent take away [10] chakra points. When hitting an opponent with Hyuuga techniques, 10% of the usual chakra drain is applied. For example, using the complete 8 Trigrams 64 Palms on an opponent will take 64 points as opposed to 640.
