Mila looked up at the man standing below them on the water, and practically jumped to the side as somebody suddenly landed between her and Kileli -- obviously an air bender. Mila stifled her excitement at another bender, though. The platform they were on was quite small, and she had sense enough to know that getting too wild on it wouldn't do any of them any good. While Kileli threatened to dump the newcomer into the water, Mila frowned at him. "You want her to get taken down by all that water??" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

His form slacked at Mila's response. "I wouldn't want to, but she just jumped on here and I don't think we can take every refugee around here. This thing is already small enough, any more people and it might not hold. We are surrounded by raging waters here." Kileli reinforced his stance, looking back to the air walker. "Let's just start with a name, and maybe a reason for joining us on this little island?"
Looking at the boy that threatened her, Karma sighed great not safe here ether. Taking a deep breath she was about to respond when the Earth Shaker girl came to her rescue, unfortunately after a quick break the boy was back to threatening her but with the added twist of wanting her name. "I am Karma of the Storm Chaser Clan at your service," she said with a bow and a grin. "So are you two on a romantic outing? " Karma's question would show these two something well known to her clan, this airbender had no tact when she was curious.

Both the twins went straight back to being alert as soon as the sound of rushing water started approaching them. Quickly, Pao added more air to the shield that Kongqi had gotten up a moment before. Pao and Sui both tensed a bit at the masked person's words or capturing them, and perhaps even using them as slaves.
"Master Kongqi, any ideas?" Pao asked a tinge of nervousness in his voice. Whoever this person was, it was obvious that they had had a lot of experience with water bending. Sui brought up another wall between them and the wave, she would go on the offensive but the person was on water, making it impossible for Sui to locate them.

Mila grinned as Kileli eased up just a bit, asking for the girl's name to start out with. Then her expression turned slightly startled for a moment at Karma's assumption, but Mila quickly waved it off. "Psh. Hardly. We just met!" She patted him on the shoulder with a grin. "Kileli here's my new teacher!" She announced happily, her excitement about learning from a real earth bender coming through again.

Kileli was peeved about the girl's assumption of their relation, clenching his fists, and when Mila replied, he opened one and pointed to Mila "Like she says, we're not a couple. The grey eyed male did not like the looks of this in any shape or form. Like stated before, he was conditioned for defense. Striking someone was totally out of his nature, so he was going to do his best to avoid that. "Change of plans." He told the twins, turning to them, sensing the stress from the two of them. "We don't want people of the town to be brought into this." The male expressed, he couldn't let innocent lives be put in harm because his group was being targeted. "Keep heading up hill though, a person's body an only exert so much while bending." Of course he had no idea how much or little this stranger could do. He hopped it was on the lesser.
He ushered the children ahead of him, taking a defensive stance, ready to deflect from the group if need be. Unfortunately, the group was heading in the opposite direction of where they needed to be. Certainly they could re track after this, but he wouldn't want to track someone so violent back to his people.

The twins listened closely as Kongqi went over the new plan expressing his concern for the village, something they had on their mind as well. "Right!" they replied in unison, making their way as Kongqi ushered them in the new direction. Neither of them would admit it, but Kongqi was spot on with benders having their limits, they were just about at theirs. Both of them had started to pant quietly, if this were to carry on much longer, it could get ugly.
As small spray of water splashed in from the front of the bubble, Pao quickly covering it back up. "It's okay."Pao assured the group, mostly Sui who had felt some of the water entering. He was protective of Sui, always doing everything in his power to keep her out of harms way. Even though she didn't really need him to be her eyes anymore, Pao had grown use to being right by her side.
