Age: 415 - equivalent to 15
Faction: Demon
Race: Youkai - Joroogumo
(she seems really monsterlike but youkais are listed in the demons list?? idk.....)
Natural Ability: She can shapeshift into a fully humanoid form without extra eyes and pincers - a strangely mature shape, a dark haired, curvy girl with slanted blue eyes. However her natural form is definitely a spider, and it takes concentration to maintain "her" human form. She's not really comfortable with it, and much prefers the look she gains when bound by wearing her pin; it fits her aesthetic better, Puella thinks.
Personality: She's a sweetheart, for sure: Puella has those large doe eyes, a dainty and impeccable sense of style (she thinks she makes heads turn; you're never sure in Amityville because everyone is bright and lovely and here she is in her muted colors and lace and sweet sugar things. But, she's sure, she thinks it's unsettling to see her frills flounce as she scuttles along, wide-eyed and ever observant. She likes that!). She smiles brightly and travels far - which is admittedly how she got where she was. She thinks. At least, she's pretty sure she's not from Japan, even though she doesn't remember anything from...before.
See, she got to Amityville after becoming a joroogumo, and that's about all she knows of her history. She lived in a home with seven other joroogumo, all of whom, Puella thought, were far more competent at the job they'd assigned themselves than she is. And so she set off.
She loves discovering new nooks and crannies of places, and often ventures from her dorm when good little ghouls should be sleeping to try to get to see all the lovely tombs created by haphazard building placement and see if she can get on the roof: she wouldn't call herself rebellious (safety first!) but she'd call herself curious. She can jump high, and she's literally got eyes on the back of her head - what does she have to worry about?
About that hobby, she tends to be secretive: she is not so secretive about much else, though. Puella thinks that makes it much easier to hide the things she does need to hide - why, yes, she's a little manipulative, she's glad you asked. She is and always has been an inherently social creature: in a household of eight she was never lacking in conversational partners and she dearly hopes that the same is true here at Amityville High. Her eagerness to learn more about things makes her an excellent listener, actually, although no one can expect her to keep secrets - Puella's an excellent gossip.
At heart though what she really wants is to be just as good as everyone else. Puella has a strong sense of who she is, and she knows that the person she is, is woefully inadequate. She often feels as though she's just one more face in a crowd of vivacious, adventurous girls, someone who is as easily dismissed as...well, as the topics she discusses. See, she sees the world as a map of places to explore: once there and she's done, and there's no looking back. It would do her well to know that not everyone thinks this way - and that sometimes she can stop to smell the flowers, too.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Jumping spiders aren't really suited to be joroogumo, Puella thinks: none of them do much in the way of webs, at least not to capture prey, and she doesn't know any other jumping spiders that can shift into human-shape! She feels largely left out among her own kind. Her aim is to discover how to properly seduce and take out men - a lofty and wonderful goal, she thinks.
Also there's exploring to do.
