Wolf Dream was not much of the partying type -- large crowds tended to overwhelm him, although if he could stay on the sidelines he found it very interesting to observe the interactions of others. But it was a cold night, the sharp n** of autumn just starting to fill the air, and the bonfire around which the kin were gathered was more than just holiday tradition. And such a large fire was hungry, eating through wood at a fast rate. At least if he were helping search for firewood Wolf Dream would have a useful purpose to taking a break from the crowd for a bit.
