[Bonfire PRP] Stick? Stick? STICK????? [Double Dogs][Fin]

The Swamp is Full of Free Dogs- just call her Dogs, it's nice and short!- wagged her fluffy tail as she darted around the clearing. She had an inkling that there might be some good sticks here. But she wasn't going to take them back to the fire! No sir! They were... burning perfectly good sticks there. It made her shudder to think of it. No, she was out here looking for sticks to chew. There were all kinds of good treats back at the fire, but she'd already been shooed away from the firewood five or six times for trying to snag a piece to chew on.

She found some pomegranates on the ground. She nosed at one and chased after it as it rolled away. Ooh. This was a good game! She continued to chase the pomegranate around the clearing until it hit a stone and split. It was full of grubs! Delicious! She chomped down on the wriggly buggies, relishing their nutty, sweet taste.

Her ears swiveled as she heard somebody else enter the clearing. "Who's there?? Who's there??" she yapped. Somebody was here!

Bark had been, well, on some sort of heroic quest when he realized that there was the strong possibility that food was nearby. Vibrating excitedly, the heroism had been abandoned because food was VERY IMPORTANT. And he smelled...

"Berries!" He barked, hopping excitedly. Tail waggling this way and that, Bark barreled in the direction of the smelly smell he had previously smelled. The fat little acha bustled past another dog (DOG!!!), and buried his head into the berry bush.

"hOI!!! FRIEND!!!" He called, not bothering to look back to whether or not his new friend had heard him.

"There are FOODS here! Come have some!"

"Berries?" Dogs bounded towards the bush. She towered over the other acha- she was quite tall for an acha, and he was quite short for anything- but he had a fluffy tail like hers, which was good. She took a big bite of the berries and promptly snagged her mouth on the brambles. Wrinkling her nose, she spat the branch out. "Those are pretty sharp berries," she said, flattening her ears- but then another smell caught her nose, a good and fine nose. "There's pears! Pears over here!" This was a good grove.

Bark caught the scent about the same time that Dogs did, and yipped in delight at the discovery. Pears! Pears were easier to eat and very much not prickly. Bounding after the larger acha (his legs were very short, yes), he caught up a moment later, panting a bit in an attempt to catch his breath. When he did, he glanced upwards, and cried in delight.

"Pears!!! hoI!!" He jumped once, twice. Then again. Unfortunately, the small acha was not of the stature to actually reach the hanging fruit from the trees. Frowning to himself, he thought for a moment, then turned to his new friend.

"Can... can you grab me some?" He asked, ears drooping a bit. It wasn't quite a stick, but, he also wanted pears!!!

"Sure!" Dogs wagged her tail happily- it was such a fluffy tail, so good and so soft- and knocked down some pears for her new little buddy. She got herself some blackberries for good measure.

Bark snatched his pears from his new friend and yipped in delight. Great! Today was just GREAT! He had food (TREATS FOOD) and friend! What a great party! Snacking on the tasty fruit, Bark got his fill, tail unstopping in its joyous wagging. When he finished, he snatched up a thicket of pears to take back to the fire.

"We should!!! Go find more food!!! And see about STICKS!!!" He called, then bounded off, hoping Dogs would follow.
