Walking slowly down the street that connected his office and the main shopping district of Uzushiogakure, Nobuyuki looked around for the Ramen shop, hoping it wasn't too out of the way that he could hit it to grab a bite to eat and then potentially head out on another mission or help his son do some training with his squad. He'd been to the shop once or twice, but he rarely paid attention to where exactly it was in the area, so when he finally caught sight of it he let a smile dance across his lips, looking forward to getting food to eat after his mission. It had been quite some time since he treated himself to a tasty meal, since he usually just ate homemade food that was extremely healthy so he saved himself money and unnecessary stress that going to a restaurant caused. The one thing about being the kage that annoyed him the most was that whenever he went out of his office or home people seemed to want to bow down to him over stupid things, which was incredibly annoying to him. People who sucked up to him over something as basic as his title and power wasn't something he enjoyed, much like his son Masato who hated being treated differently he disliked being treated differently just because he trained his a** off as a child to become as powerful as he was now. Pushing the flaps to the side he stepped into the shop, looking around for a moment before walking over to the bar to sit next to his son and his squad.
Speaking to the cook he ordered two bowls of normal beef ramen, alongside a large bottle of warm sake. Turning his head slightly to the side the Uzukage spoke towards his son and his genin squad in a quiet voice, his single crimson eye boring into the boy as he did so. "How are things going with you three Masato? Made any progress on the whole squad bonding situation?" Letting out a slight chuckle he looked forward when the Sake was dropped off at his table, grasping it before taking a large drink from the bottle itself. He wasn't one to normally drink so much, but with all that happened on that mission he couldn't really help it. Losing Lucifer to the barbarians, nearly losing Sumiko at the same time, and having to kill so many young ninja took it's toll on him emotionally. Sure when he was in the clan wars he'd killed a bunch of younger Shinobi, but at that time they were all his enemies that threatened his family and his loved ones. The barbarians he slaughtered were just doing what they were told to do; stay in that camp and watch out for intruders. If someone attempted to attack them then they were to attack them, never would they have expected someone like Nobuyuki to be there to wipe them off the face of the earth so easily. A few moments later his ramen was dropped off, upon which he broke his chopsticks apart before he began eating it slowly. "After you're all done eating we're going to go training, I need you all ready and prepared for combat when we go to invade the inland Barbarian camp."

The young Chuunin was contently sitting in his seat, kicking his legs back and forth while he shoveled noodles after noodles into his mouth. He listened to the exchange of words between the two females on either side of him. Something about Otzo and hunting her down. Having already said his two cents about the missing "squadmate" earlier, he decided to keep quiet this time around. After finishing off his ramen the young boy raised his bowl to his lips and tilted it up, letting the thick and tasty broth flow into his mouth before swallowing it down in one go. A sigh of bliss escaped past his lips as he put his second bowl into the first one to save counter space. Apparently Otzo was over at the hot springs, goody for her. Little Masato began to dig into his second bowl when the flaps parted and his father stepped into the little ramen shop and out of the rain.
Well, would you look at that. He spoke about his father's return and he returned. Coincidence? I THINK NOT! Ahem. Either way the young Kaguya took a break from shoveling noodles into his mouth to respond to his father's inquiry. ❝Bonding.. I guess is going okay?❞ The Yamana heir watched as his father downed a large gulp of sake. Knowing how his father was he could tell something must have been astray and he wished to further investigate but knew this was not the time or place to ask. That would have to come later. Nobu mentioned training and Masato simply replied with a shrug. ❝That was our next destination. I was just telling them we needed to work on our team chemistry. I figured we would be going on a mission soon. I take it you are going to help train us then?❞ He asked, now beginning to eat his ramen once more.
