So I filled out the survey but I guess gaia did something stupid so I got logged out without realizing and when I went to post the full reply, I was logged out and everything I wrote is gone. I don't wanna do it again so I'm just gonna post what I felt like was the most important thing.

I feel like I would use this guild (and by extension, gaia in general) more frequently if we set up a sort of old-fashioned book club but for anime.We would choose an anime, watch 2 episodes per week or so, set up a time to all be online, and then have a live discussion about those episodes. We could pick a different person to lead the discussion with specific questions they come up with, so that we at least have a starting point for actual conversation. Think of those book clubs that meet in coffee shops once a week, but for anime and we meet online instead of in a coffee shop (though I suppose you could take your computer to a coffee shop if you wanted to have the discussion there, haha).

Shows, Movies & Manga

1. What are your favorite anime of 2015?
The list of all the titles that I wanted to see last year isn't finished. So far I did enjoy Death Parade, Doamaiger D, Durarara!!x2 Shou/Ten, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works 2nd Season & Wakako-zake.

2. What are your favorite manga of 2015?
I don't have any favorites because I didn't read any manga in 2015.

3. What are your top 5 live-actions of 2015?
Didn't watch much live-action this year other a few Chinese movies. I did watch the Japanese drama Atelier (aka Underwear), which I liked.

4. What are your top favorite anime now?
My top 10 anime titles are Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Gungrave, Hell Girl, Samurai Champloo, Honey and Clover, Trigun, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi & Black Lagoon. That list never seems to change.

5. What are your top favorite manga now?
I don't really have any favorite manga.

6. What are your top favorite live-action dramas & movies?
• China: Bodyguards and Assassins, Detective Dee and the Mystery of Phantom Flame, Farewell My Concubine, House of Flying Daggers & The Guillotines

I haven't had time to sit down and see what's coming out this year.

Probably nothing since I am not a big manga fan.

I haven't had time to sit down and see what's coming out this year.

10. What are your favorite anime, manga or live-action recommended in this guild?
Although I did watch them before they became "Anime of the Month" selections, I love Wolf's Rain, Natsume Yuujinchou, Getbackers and Durarara!!.

Trying to keep hip-hop out of it. I would say my favorites are: 2PM, B.A.P, Brown Eyed Girls, Miss A & Wonder Girls.

12. Which music in "Music of the Week" is your favorite?
I'm not sure what you mean with this question. Do you mean Japanese vs. Korean? I like both kinds of music. Although, Japan will always be my first love in Asian music.

13. Who is your favorite band in J-pop?
Is... meaning I can only choose one and it has to be a group? 😭 Well, I am not sure if they're pop but I'm going to go with Abingdon Boys School.

Yes, the guild is helpful. It always hopeful when anime fans can gather and share their common interests.

17. Are the anime reviews helpful?
To the guild, yes they are. To me personally, not really. For 18 years I've been watching anime and I can honestly say I have read less than 10 reviews in that time span.

18. What anime do you want to see in "Anime of the Month"?
¤ Genshiken - Who doesn't like watching fellow anime fans balance life and anime related issues.
¤ Honey and Clover - Genshiken without anime and manga. A slice of life dealing with the lives of a group of friends in college.
¤ Mushishi - A supernatural title with a slice of life feel.
¤ Samurai 7 - An interesting retelling of a classic story.

19. What update can the guild do to be more active?
I'm not sure.

20. The guild was made public. What do you think?
It might be a good think. Hopefully, we'll get more active members.
