After a few minutes of thankless digging, he was able to stuff the rest of the bunnies body in the hole and cover it up with the dirt. There. Now, that should have been the end of it, but oh no. Apparently when motherfather wanted to send you a challenge, they did it in ten fold.
It seemed that the rabbit wasn't the only victim. There were five little buns (though one appeared a little er... stiff) burrowed into a hole. Autumn Leaves stared in shock, unsure if he was seeing things right. No one he knew understood rabbits and goodness he couldn't just LEAVE little babies alone. No... Much too kind for that notion.
Huffing, he began to walk in fretful circles, trying as he might to come up with some sort of plan. He couldn't take care of them himself. He knew nothing about the care of small creatures. What did they even eat? The buck groaned, irritated at his own ignorance. If he left to find someone, another carnivore might return, or the one that left their uh... tenderized mother... to finish the job off by eating the babies. That would be horrific. Then of course there was the chance he'd simply forget where they were and get lost...
No, there had to be some way to save them from the cycle of nature... If only he could figure out how.
showing off the buns again b/c they're cute
