The crowd cheers with anticipation as the next entrant was about to make his way down. Jungle Rot - Terror Regime began to blast throughout the arena as the lights went emerald green signifying the entrance of Mikey McKay leading to a chorus of boos from the crowd. The Celtic Cannon hops side to side on each foot before placing his arms across his chest and then swinging them outstretched with clenched fists causing the green pyrotechnics to blast off in front of him. Mikey then marches down the ramp to the ring ready for war tonight.
"From Skerries, Ireland, weighing in at 295 pounds, the Celtic Cannon, Mikey McKay!"
Mikey jumps up onto the ring apron as the gold and orange pyros shoot from the ring posts before he hops in over the top rope. He was ready to prove to to the world he belonged!

Woop woop! Thats the sound of da police! Woop woop! Thats the sound of da beast! Woop woop! Thats the sound of da police! Woop woop! Thats the sound of da beast!
The silhouette of Renegade Young stood in front of blue and red strobe lights, per his usual entrance. To his side was a briefcase clenched tightly in his hand. Most people had known this by now, but commentary had made it clear to the fans at home that this was not the Money in the Bank briefcase. That was in an ongoing custody battle with the California Kid and the Dream. Being the new kid on the block, Young had already defeated seasoned veterans in his short term as a WWF superstar, but his mind was heavy. Thoughts of his upcoming PPV match, plans he had glorified if he emerged victorious, and the confusion that had came with Relinquished and his ominous presence last week. All of this had left him somewhat unprepared for the drunken fighting style of Mikey McKay.
Renegade emerged from the top of the ramp and walked into a spotlight, where he was met with overwhelming cheers. His personality growing and the multiple storylines surrounding him had made his interest among fans take a snowball effect since his debut. Surely it would come to a halt if McKay had anything to say about it. This time down the ramp, he did not have his California flag. He seemed as though he was lacking enthusiasm. Renegade was so worried about the future ahead that he might have left himself in a vulnerable position for an upset. He had to get his head in the moment and fast.
Without any taunts or theatrics, Young hopped onto the apron and climbed into the ring before handing his $20 briefcase to the referee. With that, he backed into his corner and eyed the competition before the sound of the bell.

The bell rang and it was go time as Mikey was ready for a fight! The Celtic Cannon went to bull rush Young backwards into the corner so he could start slamming him with some shoulder thrusts in the corner!

Too often in recent history, matches had began with Renegade taking shoulder after shoulder into his midsection. Surely Mikey didnt realize that, but neither was Young too apt on his preparation after all. He had wanted to take the match slow but the hungry fighting Irishman would never allow that. The California Kid was shoved into the corner by a weight much greater than his, and he was punished by the strength of his opponent. The referee began counting to five as Young clenched the top ropes to keep balance and not let the onslaught persist.

The ref begins counting as Mikey finally stops at the count of four. He quickly backs off before going back in, looking to boot Renegade right in the face!

Young saw another attack coming, and even though the boot was a surprise, a strike towards his face was forseen. It was the philosophy of getting every body part bruised before focusing on one. Renegade looked to dodge the boot by quickly movinf to the right of McKay. He would try to turn the big Irishman around and go for repetitive chops to the chest.
