[B] What Should I do? [Reveal & Peep]

A while had passed since Spring Time, and Reveal awoke wondering what to do with herself - and the strain of her back. She'd laid there most of the morning, watching the clouds roll by the swamp, before whispering to herself, what should I do?

Her query floated with the humid, heavy breeze. It was late afternoon before she could bring herself to rise, and queried others along the way,
"What should I do?"

Some were sympathetic, but not useful. Some were mildly confused. Until finally some pointed her to the Mothers' Club, figuring that it was either right or...hopefully not rude. But since she had nowhere to go, Reveal went.

She went and she stood on the edge, staring in at the little encampment of kin and babies of every shape and size. And in that moment, she was definitely not sure what she should do. She watched, and waited.

The tug in her chest that took her from one side of The Mothers’ Club lands to the other, was slightly more insistent than usual, as if whoever was at the end was in dire need of a good blessing. Peep’s steps carried her quickly and it was a relief to find that her target was not a world away but already right here, ready to be welcomed.

The tiny Acha did not slow her pace until she was close enough to touch the doe, her eyes glowing warm. "There you are." The words ghosted across Reveal’s cheek. "Everything is fine now."

Reveal hadn't realised that she'd been holding her breath until it emerged, just as the little Legendary's soothing voice had, and her soft sigh took all those feelings away.

"Thank you very much," her eyelashes fluttered and she curtseyed. Politely, she backed away, letting the kindly mare take her leave, and watched the children for the rest of the evening. She wondered how she would feel about her own children, but at least now, she was no longer afraid.
