Below is a list detailing the possible options for inter-village missions. The kages of each village must meet, discuss, and assign teams to these missions in order for them to be carried out. Any casualties during these missions are considered an act of war, and will likely result in mass casualties between both villages.

Misson Name: Steal Intelligence Scroll
Rank: C-ranked
Mission Description: In order to learn more about our enemy, you must infiltrate their village library or archives and obtain a scroll detailing their forces and resource data. The mission is complete when the scroll is delivered back to the home village. In times of peace, this is a joint mission with 'Intercept the Enemy Ninja', and you'll be faced with appropriate, simulated opposition. Anything else is failure. In times of war, your life is on the line, and this becomes a B-ranked mission.
Team Size: Solo or Squad

Misson Name: Intercept the Enemy Ninja
Rank: C-ranked
Mission Description: An enemy has entered our village, and is attempting to steal one of our scrolls detailing the vital information of our village. Get to the village archives (or library) and defend against the foreign invaders. The mission is a success if all invaders are defeated or repelled without the loss of village information. In times of peace, this is a joint-mission with 'Steal Intelligence Scroll', and you'll be faced with appropriate, simulated opposition. In times of war, your life is on the line, and this becomes a B-ranked mission.
Team Size: Solo or Squad

Misson Name: Attack the Gates
Rank: B-rank
Mission Description: A simulated training exercise normally. Your objective is to combat your opponents at the gate--which will either be simulated or deadly depending on peace time or wartime--and enter the village. Normally, sneaking in would be the correct option, but rendering their defenses weaker is crucial for further battles. For this purpose, you'll be defeating the enemy before proceeding, whether that be by ambush or direct confrontation. As soon as all your enemies are defeated, entering the enemy village completes the mission. In times of war, this mission is life-threatening, and becomes A-ranked.
Team Size: Solo or Squad, depending on how cocky you are.

Misson Name: Defend the Gates
Rank: B-rank
Mission Description: In order to defend the village, you must engage the enemy at the gates. Depending on the size of the enemy force, your force will also be determined. In order to accomplish this mission, the opponent must be repelled without entering the village. In times of peace, this mission is orchestrated between the two villages in question, and the opponents are pre-determined. During times of war, this mission is life-threatening, and becomes A-ranked.
Team Size: Solo or Squad, depending on how cocky you are.

Misson Name: Secure Vital Object
Rank: B-ranked
Mission Description: Village scouts have identified a strange-looking artifact in [Area specified by mission givers], and it is your squad's objective to obtain and return this object to the village. However, if your village has detected it, it's quite likely that other villages have found it as well. The mission does not end until the object is safely back in your village. If the valuable..thing reaches an enemy village, you've failed. In times of peace, this is a combat simulation. In times of war, this is a dangerous, A-ranked mission.
