I’m at the point where I keep my coffee cup in my room.
Not out of trust issues, but because other people will definitely try to use it without asking. in any case, the answer is no.

I get you. No one likes people touching their things without asking.

Plus, if I knew the person started keeping their coffee cup in their room, I wouldn't even ask them because I would probably assume it's off-limits xD

They don’t even ask. The only reason no one uses my crock pot is because no one knows anything to use it for. I leave food out, it’s gone before I even get a chance or it is opened and left out.
