█ BACKGROUND
Araxie was born on a small sub island off the coast of Ødemark's Isles...or so she has been told. Her mother and father were but simple fishermen for the isolated LaKuna tribe. Shrouded in mystery and arcane secrets, the LaKuna tribe was vaguely mentioned in legends for their longevity and elemental-runic manipulation. They all kept to themselves and were completely self sufficient, until the Naiørians and Tørstårians waged war upon each other.
It is not only the two sides that suffer when the battle drums sound. Many islands and surrounding areas were obliterated during the wars. In this particular battle, Roxi lost her entire village to tsunamis caused when a floating Naiørian isle fell and crashed into the sea, just a fraction of the faction's destructive wake. The screams haunt her dreams still.
She was sixteen when she washed up half-drowned onto the shores of the main island. From there, she made her home with the street gangs until she was able to sign on with a group of pirates. Years passed as she honed her talents, leery of revealing her nymph abilities to just anyone. People were not kind and she was always a interesting commodity to anyone who wanted to gain an upper hand.
Finally, after many years and much struggle, she had created a name for herself and gained her own ship and loyal crew.
