So I invited friends to do swing dancing with me and all of them are bailing. "Oh I don't feel comfortable doing it" which is fine but this is how I want to celebrate my birthday. And i'm tired of waiting around for them to go yes or maybe. I'm annoyed about them bailing. But I knew it was coming. you know what i mean guild?

No point being annoyed with something you already were expecting, perhaps you got your hopes up and actually wished more from them.

ive only ever slow danced once myself at my prom, but ive always wanted to try swing dancing, or be able to do a Russian jig.
and no its not illogical to be annoyed at that, I mean its taking them forever to answer back, I would be annoyed too.

That's how I felt when I invited some of my "closer" friends a couple of years ago to my house for a little party during my university's winter break. I planned it a month and a half ahead of time and made sure it fit everyone's schedule, but in the end nobody came. And I've known and been around with them since high school. Some friendship that was. (' -')
I can't dance to save my life, but I'd still be willing to pitch in if I could be there!
