Rising from the Ashes was nervous, he had never thought about being a father before. At least not until now and here he was, seeking out a legendary to bring a gift to so they might bless his and his partners unborn children so they might all live. He had gotten a very lovely fur caplet from someone not too long ago as a gift and he figured it might be a worthy one.

Mourning Fog rested in a small patch of sunlight that filtered through the canopy. His eyes fluttered shut as he felt the warmth on his pelt. His daughter urged him to go out and take a walk, saying it would do him good, but really the stag just wanted to be alone. But a gentle tug on his heart reminded him that it would not be so today.
But it mattered not, he was not one to shirk the duties the Motherfather had bestowed on him for the sake of alone time. And besides, Obsidian River was right -- he needed to get out more, to stop holing himself up in his dark den.
