Dry heat was something she could appreciate. It was the sort she was used to. Humid heat? Ew. Agsilved was heavily grateful that she preferred light, loose clothing, the dress with various cutouts fluttering around her form as she made her way down one of the main streets in town. Charms glinted in the lights of buildings and the dim day, twinkling sounds coming from her various bangles, chains, and other adornments. Even in the heat she still sported her best.
Spotting an ice cream parlor, she couldn't help but wander her way towards it, noting with amusement how popular it was right now. Younglings, elders, and all in between scurried to and fro, beating the muggy heat with a wonderful treat. The dragon tucked her wings close to her as she went in, mindful of the other bodies around her. Didn't take as long as she'd thought it might to get up to the counter and place her order, standing back to then wait in the pick up line. Her violet eyes scanned the place, relieved at how cold it was in here. Comfortable, a wonderful thing after dealing with the heat outside.
Bright colors splattered the walls, tiled floor, even the ceiling, she realized with a small chuckle. Booths lined the dining area, mostly cotton candy colors, with high rise tables and stools filling up the rest of the space. Grabbing her treat--chocolate ice cream with bits of cookie, topped with fudge and whipped cream--she made her way towards the dining area, searching about for a place to sit. There were tables outside as well, but that required being in the heat...
"Oh, this is... a surprise." The shock in her voice was genuine as she spotted a familiar blue-skinned boil. Agsilved stared at Spinar, trying to recall when she'd even last seen him. Not since before she'd gone up a year, hadn't it? More scales gleamed with an ink-like sheen across her body now than they had before, her control over her ink having increased over countless hours of practice. The pale skin around them was dark with long since dried inky stains, forming streaks and patterns across her.
But he... seemed to have changed as well.
Though she stood near the table he occupied, she didn't sit, even as she offered him a slow, but friendly smile. "How have you been? Are you... doing alright in this weather?" As she spoke her question, her brows furrowed, an edge of concern entering her expression despite herself. He was an ice demon after all.
