Should we do a proper Slammy Awards ceremony?

I've discussed this among the administrators of the guild, but I was hoping to touch base with the whole guild regarding this. I've been thinking about doing an official Slammy Award, with good categories for the awards. It'll be a great opportunity to dish out speeches and build character development and whatnot. But what do you guys think?
