Here comes a beast,
inciting a warren war.
Poisoning the populace to
turn on each other.
Rabbit killing rabbit in
their own sanctuary. Eyes
turning on any movement,
then leaping, tearing, screaming.
Those once serene halls
painted red. Bright red
pools in the tunnels.
A sick stench lingers.
Smiling, the beast departs.
His work is done.
And he didn't have
to lift a hoof.
