Personalities: Barclay is uniquely driven to fulfil his chosen career. Hailing from a family with a long tradition of butlering and valet work for distinguished British families, he was fortunate enough to be one of the few remaining modern butlers, his duties overlapping with that of a chauffeur at times and various other duties around the household. Loyalty, dignity and discretion were his main focuses and he took great pride in executing them well. His employment is the only part of his life he had intensely strong feelings about, by nature a very soft and quiet individual with a very sentimental and thoughtful personality. He prefers as a general rule to fade into the background of any given situation and does not enjoy confrontation.

He is rarely off-duty, and has never had much use for free time to begin with, preferring to be around his employer or busy about the house. When he was off-duty he enjoyed reading gentle romantic literature, butterfly collecting and photography.

Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?

Barclay chose to be a hunter because following the death of his last employer, their family line was ended. They no longer had need of him or his skills and without a normal family - his father had passed on and his mother was not in his life - or any interest in finding a wife and making one he took the offer of the next exciting adventure in his life, hoping that somehow would give him new direction.
