Personalities: Bassam is a stubborn, hardworking man because nothing has ever come easy to him. A striver, rather than naturally talented (except at seeing

locura), he excels at pushing past expectations to master new abilities. This, however, means that he tends to be a bit of a grump seeing as the world lavishes attention on those who excel naturally and with ease rather than those who have to put all their time and effort into mastering a skill. This, however, gives him a bit of an edge when it comes to being a mild prankster because who suspects the derpish fool who is still trying to learn that 2 plus 2 equals 4?
Ilham is a fabulous, sarcastic woman; emphasis on
fabulous. A touch on the egocentric side, she believes she could do better than most others. She enjoys teasing Bassam, often relentlessly, until he starts muttering aloud, only to play innocent. She is, nonetheless, compassionate if not a bit persnickety. Details are important. Which makes helping him with pranks all the more fun.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?After years of having to watch his mouth, he was beginning to fray. When he was a kid, the mentions of shadows could be brushed off as imaginary friends. With this third year of being pre-med coming to a close, he felt like he was going to explode. He didn't hesitate when he found out the shadows were real--he cared a lot more about finally learning the truth than about anything else. The chance to finally
fit somewhere was an allure he couldn't pass up.
