~The black dress~
Elisha is a chambermaid in an English nobles home. She isn't treated to well on the home. With little choices of where else to go she stays. In this grand year of 1803 she isn't dealt a good hand but she makes due with her life. At least there are parties she is allowed to attend ones with princes and handsome men. Not allowed to dance she does enjoy watching other and listening to the music.
A prince from a far off country ends up at one of the dances in an English noble mans home due to business. Upon seeing a lovely girl at the dance, alone to the side, he ask her to stay and chat for only a few moments, Elisha agreed and stood beside the man. soon though the prince easily manages to pull the maid off to the dance and lift her off her feet with a smile. Heart caught in her throat the maid decides to enjoy the night. As morning arised thought Elisha realizes that he is to stay for a week, will she let herself enjoy the time or will she avoid this prince?
~Fathers New Knight~
Knights serve the men and woman they serve till death,risking their own lives to protect. One knight ---- is not as he appears, he is a demon whos true name was reveled to the king by a book, once spoken the demon ---- was bound to the king. His slave who had to follow every order or die. That man is a king with a single daughter named _____. She is an of age female that was assigned a knight as a personal bodyguard when she walked the castle grounds. Her knight seemed strange to her, annoyed easily by a small question or when he need to walk with her. He also never spoke with her. Determined though she soon got the knight to cave in and have one talk with her. Stuff with this knight though how will the two end up in days to pass?
~Just A Smile?~
In a kingdom, their lived a king and his family, along with a jester and his family. The jester pleased the king for many years and as tradition the jester lived with the king since his first born child would be the next to entertain the kings son. Though tradition also states that if in time the jester can not make the king smile or laugh he will be removed from the kingdom. Though the king and jesters family lived together for a long time both only had one child, and only the king had a son.
The two kids grew up both seeing little of one another, the prince dedicated to his studies and the jesters daughter spent her time making others laugh with jokes and tricks. Her job became even more important as a war entered the kingdom and her family did all they could.
When the two came of age the price had been crowned the new king and when he called for the jester one day to entertain himself and guest a woman walked out, the court found her to be entertaining with her tricks and comments a woman of that ae would never say. The king was the only one who never showed his approval.
Our story starts here, with a woman seeking to be approved of by the man who not only held the kingdom in his hands, but her family's livelihood.
